That's one thing. Concurrent sentences are such bollocks. Do multiple crimes and get found guilty but serve the same amount of time. Prison time should be longer for repeat offenders imo. I would be in favour of it if things were guaranteed but humans are humans so i would be against it
Certainly seems to be the case in the US when you look at all the massacres - no point in stopping if you're either gonna be executed or would turn the gun on yourself. And now I'm waiting for someone to say "remind me - what city in America was Anders Brevik in when he shot all those kids?"
How do you increase a life sentence Bobby? Put them in cryogenic suspension and try them again? In fairness, I kind of agree - just adds strength to the life means life argument. But West Windsor's right - there are certain murder cases where it may be justifiable to release the culprit at some point.
I don't think anywhere (Western) has executed underage kids in a long time have they? Out of curiosity why not women? To me sex or gender should not be a factor in sentencing. If a man and woman commit the same crime with the same circumstances and the same motivations they should be punished equally. If someone killed your parents or your children, would you be more forgiving, or blame them less, just because they had a vagina?
Not necessarily talking about life sentences such last what ten years? I just meant sentencing in general But mainly raging about the concurrent sentencing. It's just a buzz word to make it seem like more punishment when it isn't at all

Yeah I know Bobby and I agree - was just being facetious. Ten years is ****. I was on jury service and the stepdad battered a five year old boy to death with a pool cue and got life. Was out in ten years FFS.
