I agree they're both worth new deals but not on their wages, if they accept cuts then yes. If not then we can get equally good players for half the wage.
Oh yes, I'm not disputing that they should be given pay cuts, I'm merely stating they can bring something to the team.
He can put a decent ball in... ...occasionally but ***ans real strength is being a wum. I like to think he's the Craig Bellamy of city (minus the skill)
***end, Folan and Garcia are all history can't see any if them pulling on the Amber and black again. Every player Nige as brought in is better than these three
Automatic promotion is one thing but previous experience has shown that we have a mammoth task attracting players of the calibre needed to survive. We had over 20 players (from memory) who turned down offers from us whilst we would surely have learned that the Duffen method of offering them everything and anything doesn't work. I am eternally grateful that I saw my team in the EPL and the memory of 'kicking arse' for a short while will remain with me for the rest of my days but it nearly cost us our existence last time and I wouldn't want to go through that again. I wonder what other fans thoughts are on this as despite the Allam's business finesse we don't seem to have improved our image in attracting quality players. I feel more confident though that the Allam's will handle the finances and improve the infrastructure of the Club especially with training facilities and stadium improvements but can we attract the players we need?
