We'll not get to that level unless we get relegated. We still have 6k season ticket holders and about 2k cash on the day. This will remain until a relegation, which I cannot see UNLESS Dushitelet really puts the squeeze on and reverts back to bringing in **** from Belgian. This of course is not beyond him.

Indeed. If Lapslie's old contract was up this summer his value to the Club was zero. Now if he has a decent second half of 2019 RD might get a million or two for him next January.. Is Lapslie's new contract a reasonable length (18 months or more)?
A 2 year contract then. Long enough for Lapslie to impress one or two Championship teams and put some of this in Roland's pocket next January or the summer of 2020. At this rate, we might actually have more than a five-a-side squad left by the end of June.
