Imagine it’s been a while since we haven’t scored at Anfield.

Shame as bayern dont appear to be quite dominant team they were 3/4 years ago and was a good chance to get a win and go to Germany with a good advantage.

I was really looking forward to this match and have been sorely disappointed, not so much in our performance, but more Munich's attitude.

It's like playing Stoke, they've shown very little attacking intent, happy to waste as much time as possible and been more than a bit dirty.

You hope that being in the the champions League you get to see the best teams playing the best football.

Origi was a pretty pointless sub.

Bayern should have scored an away goal. They will come out more and that will play into our hands based on the counter press.

We couldnt play a high line with Fabinho but now it will be a different game. Still think it is in our hands

i was expecting studge, origi made no sense.

they mentioned his height, yeah that worked well

 

very odd game where both teams had "weak" defences yet neither GK really had to make a save. We really missed a trick here as some of those positions we had should have led to a goal .
Thought both teams were pretty poor in 2nd half and imo both playing it safe to a large extent.

 

Bayern's best chance was matip smacking it against Alison, apart from that I don't think they had an opportunity.

Considering we had enough chances to finish it tonight with them defending with 10 men, I'm hopeful we will get a few more if they decide to actually leave there half of the pitch.

 

Thought Fabinho did well. Salah was poor. TAA & Robertson were poor when passing and gave the ball away a lot. Keita was good first half, but faded 2nd. Good point is no away goal conceded. Just need to score over there so they need 2.
