I have never seen us give the ball away as much as that first half. Terrible stuff.

Keita playing well

 

Fractured game. Keita playing well for a change. This game just highlights how much better or underatted VVD passing is.

Virgil on the field and we are wiping the floor with Bayern.

The good news is if we can get it forward to the front men they are in and creating half chances etc.

The bad news is we are bloody awful and making so many basic errors.



Fabinho and Matip I think swapped sides there.. we've tried to do better on coman as well but the state of the basic errors on simple passes is killing us.

 

How many open chances can we afford to miss ? Awful finishing. Should be well ahead.

 

We were bound to have plenty of defensive jitters given who's starting at CB for us!

All in all, not a bad first half. We've had some good attacks but lacking the final ball. Henderson's playing well and both Gini and Keita have had moments. If that midfield can click and play together in the second half, Bayern are here for a few goals. I would argue that a clean sheet here is the most important thing - get VVD back for a solid away performance and nick a few away goals.

 

And by **** Alisson..... if he didn't need his feet to move I'd break em

 

Good game but very frantic.

 

Fascinating first half. We grew into it and we’ve created some good chances and should have scored by now. Henderson is really on it tonight and Keita getting more on the ball with purpose.

But the back line is struggling. Robbo having another stinker doesn’t help.

 

I've enjoyed it... well all but bowels has enjoyed it.

Just need to keep the passing quick but simple at times.... and a few less touches each lol

The effort we have put in I would expect level to drop and no way are we winning Sunday

First off it wasn't even possession for first 25mins it was 60/40 to them.
Second we have given it away loads
Third bayerns best and few chances have been terrible errors from us.

Tbh I would call anything we've done bar Matip actual shot a chance.the rest are overheads and balls that were not completed.

The game basically opened up after 25mins.

It's a calamity of errors from us and some lads look like they are ****ting it.

 

It's ok....Mane has had his usual quota of misses....Will bang in a worldie now.

 

I agree, the mistakes are because of the pace of the game it happens. Keep going and we may grab one.

 

well not sure how it is 0-0 but think it may probably be because neither team can actually get a shot on target.
Weird game since Henderson probably the best CM out there though Mane looks most likely for us but only if he finds Billys boots.

 

Game growing to be played at a high tempo which suits us better than Bayern. We must score with these chances in second half

I swear windy looked at Henderson there and waited and waited as all was needed was a ball infront of Henderson yo move onto.

He refused until man was close then played it behind Henderson almost.
