<peacedove>Andre Villas-Boas, Chelsea manager has warned Fernando Torres
that he is going to be ditched if goals are not coming in from him.

thats a slightly misleading topic title but I know the mirror article you're on about. I don't really care whether or not Torres scores anymore, I hope that Chelsea don't score any goals as a team as you can't win a game without scoring goals, while on the subject Chelsea have looked shakey at the back these last few weeks so i'd like to see sides show them less respect and start going for the throat against them as I feel Chelsea are easier to beat now then they have been for a long time

it will be interesting to see how this latest manager washes out.

the form seems to be each manager gets so long unitl roman abramovich undermines them.. he took out mourinho, scolari and anchelotti by doing this so it'll be interesting to see how long boas gets to make his mark until the terry's of this world start jumpiong up and down the minute RA does something.

torres had better take over the dressing room and force drogba and terry out before he gets forced out!

Has anyone seen the carragher interveiw where he says selling Torres for 50m was one of the best transfers the club has made durring his time there.
Made me chuckle, there was obviously no love lost there!

Ain't surprised to be honest... If he isn't scoring, why should he stay in the team?

Would be refreshing to see Lukaku play from a neutral stand point. Drogba is out and Torres is looking useless still. Give a new, young, hungry lad a chance to go out and cause some chaos. Plus am interested in seeing the hype around young Lukaku.

I think the question that needs to be asked is "what's going on in Torres's head?" His form hasn't only dropped its vanished totally. We all know what he can do on a football pitch, but those are starting to look like distant memories.

Should Liverpool activate the first refusal buy-out clause, Liverpool wrote it into Torres contract that if Chelsea decide to sell, Liverpool have first refusal and only had to pat £4 million.

FT must have some crap in his head as he is defo not the player we had, he has even been missing sitters where it was him against the keeper IMO it is to do with Chelsea as a team, managers not given much time ect

I think that he will sign for a Italian club next As i don't think LFC will have him back even with that clause thing in his contract

Don't care what he does now.. Will head back to Spain I would suggest if he doesn't make work at Chelsea.

The talk of a buy back clause is rubbish.

Nando let it all go to his head that's what happened. He was classed at that time to be possibly the best striker in the world. That season he wasn't aloof and was smiling a lot and really enjoying football, very hard ot mark, now he is so much more static, takes up the wrong positions, makes poor runs and bad decisions. Not the same player at all. The image of Torres is all that remains, the footballer has faded away over the past 3 years
