O'dea will go left back back & O'Brien will come in. Why have you left out Lees? If anything I would shift him to CB & reinstate Connoly & keep it that way when Whites back Connoly Kissa Lees White would be my back four Bruce should never be allowed in the first 11 again ever! Morning Bucks. Connolly Kissa Lees O'Dea for me. I don't think Broce is that bad. Neither of us have included Bromby. Is he injured? If not, Bromby/Kissa as the CB pairing & Lees can play out at RB or sit on the bench. Not sure I agree with you on Bruce. I think he has a role to play. He's certainly better than OB. OB did a job for us last year, but Kissa is back & Lees is pushing on. Me thinks that as we have O'Dea for a few weeks yet & Bromby who's never really put a foot wrong when given a run, OB is almost surplus to requirements.
Maybe this is the problem with O'Brien, he played most of last season and wasn't that bad (towards the end he showed signs of problems) and so far this season he has been left out due to the return of Kisnorbo, who quite frankly has been dire during most of the games he played. O'Brien's confidence must be shot to pieces as he sits and watches another player in his position make mistake after mistake and get away with it!
Morning Boggers I dont think O'Brien did anything for us last year either except a couple of strong games whilst on loan. No way Lees should be dropped, he's looked the best defender we have & he is playing out of position! To be honest, all the centre backs we have signed have been no better than Bromby & thats a worry. Its a waste of money & quantity over quality hoping something will pay off.
Sol Bamba. Watched him play for both Dunfermline & Hibs before his move to Leicester, he always impressed me and from what I understand he's stood out for Leicester since he came. The old Leeds would have put a bid in for him and no doubt he would have moved, sadly those days are gone and we get what we either pay or don't really pay for.
We need a good win this week to get some confidence back. A 3 goal romp would be great with an impossible hat trick for McCormack !!! Then I wake up !

Not sure I entirely agree with you Bucks. Prior to OB arriving last year, we were leaking goals to a point where relegation wasn't entirely out of the question - 4, 4,5, 6 as I recall. When he arrived, this went down markedly. So yes, he did a job. Start of this season, he went walkabout against Southampton & didn't do a great deal better against ??, 'Boro I think. Lees has stepped up, is learning & will make mistakes, but is progressing & is our future. O'Dea has come in on loan & seems to be doing okay. Wwe have Bruce who you & others don't like as well as Bromby who I do like. Not sure where OB now fits in. Quantity over quality? You may have a point. But class act CBs are worth their weight in gold. Not sure we have the funds to afford much more than what we've got. If we assume for the moment that Lees is one half of our long term CB future, who else is coming through the academy at CB who might just push on next season for at least a place on the bench on a regular basis?

(Arsenal!) Bromby who is ok at best has made them both look awful
Dave, I mainly work from home so the TV is always on 15-0 The all blacks and there taking no prisioners! Its going to be at least a 50 point margin I reckon!
