Bridge for me is the stand out from that list. We have enough quality going forward & we have Brown & Clayton to shore up the centre of midfield. So if I had to choose one, I'd welcome Bridge with open arms, espcially if City were to contribute to his wages aga the Bellamy situation at Cardiff.

Bridge and Ireland would fit in but I always wonder why they are out "on loan" But will papa cough up ?? A terminal cough would do the job though !
Ireland comes with a whole bag of problems but would be unreal in this division if he was open to making the move other than that Killa would be my choice

hahaha....u spying on me?!?! The way i see it, is we wont get anyone whos really any good...just people to fill in gaps, and (bates hopes) to shut us up a bit!! We wont splash cashon bridge, killa, ireland...or anyone else at their level...see Tom Soars, never seen him play, or maybe i have and didnt remember, either way, his signing doesnt exite me in the slightest. Forsell...freebie, again i aint doin cartwheels, he is a stop gap, if he fails...so what...if hes good..."thats the quality of player we were looking for, uncovered gem blah blah blah blah bollocks" expect mediocre loan signings, with bollocks that our top 34 targets all went to premiership clubs or Barcalona B
I'd take Killgallon and Clint Hill. Both quality defenders at this level, way better than what we've already got. It looks like Danny Pugh will sign, probably will be at leftback or leftwing. I'd take Jay Spearing or Eastmond as well. They're both defensive minded centre mids and seem good whenever I've seen them play.
I left Tom Soares off the list because he simply is not good enough.... If we want a Midfielder lets tap Man City and see if they will let Hargreaves come for a month to get some games under his belt.... Or, and i know this will divide opinion, lets see if Newcastle really want to pay Smith's wages all season for nothing, plus on an Emergency loan if gets injured we can send him back?
