I can see Chelsea winning Europa for cl but ending up 6th and letting Utd hammer them tonight. then again... they could turn round and spank Utd. they are that inconsistent
No, means 5 teams enter like when united won it a few years ago. 4th only misses out if 2 English teams win the CL and europa and they finish outside the top 4. Can’t have 6 teams in but 5 is ok
no. there can be 5. The europa slot is still a separate slot. If say utd.. won the CL and finished 5th then the 4th place team gives up slot. thats the champions league winners though. the europa slot for CL is a separate country free slot that just proves the europe league doesn't work as a format. Its the only thing that encourages sides to field a full team form round of 32 on.
Watching this United team, I have come to the conclusion that they are not built to press. They did the same against PSG and blew off after a few. What is interesting is the space they allow the full backs. Should be an interesting game on Sunday.

Strange game. Chelsea have had a lot - i.e. most of - the ball and look pretty on it but they're not yielding anything. Utd have just caught them with a couple of good crosses and headers
