They are: Chuka Umunna, Luciana Berger, Chris Leslie, Angela Smith, Mike Gapes, Gavin Shuker and Ann Coffey. Ms Berger said Labour had become institutionally anti-Semitic and she was "embarrassed and ashamed" to stay. Mr Corbyn said he was "disappointed" the MPs had felt unable to continue working for the policies that "inspired millions" at the 2017 election. The MPs are not launching a new political party - they will sit in Parliament as the Independent group. But Chuka Umunna said they had "taken the first step" and urged other Labour MPs - and members of other parties - to join them in "building a new politics". "Politics is broken, it doesn't have to be this way. Let's change it," he said at a launch event in central London.

certain right wing newspapers (rags) have been playing this tune for the past 2 or 3 weeks. It has been coming IMO and this is just the game to weaken corbyn. Its not shock me to know they are all brexiteers as well.
one thing i really hate about all this bull which is a conflict of interest surely. media have a big influence on things and peoples opinions in this country. bbc salford esp should not be allowed, report facts, not your spin on things, maybe that's why brexit got so ****ed up as what facts was really told to people apart from the crap about the nhs getting was it £350 mill boost. like that would have lasted long with torries in charge ffs!!!

my news feed has been polluted in recent weeks with right wing rags (you know the ones i mean) throwing in headlines about labour party split. those same rags are also running headlines about brexit and also about corbyn which to be frank are barefaced lies. hence if these rags could predict this split coming these 7 may well be in bed with self same interests. I can't remove the headlines as i use it as a barometer of what propaganda to expect to be peddled by certain forces. Its amazing how you can see whats coming based purely on the propagandist headlines that start up i nthese rags.
