Off Topic The Burly Arms

Same, especially long haul...it's **** boring.

 

Oz is the furthest I’ve been. That was a mare!..took 26 hours...

But I’ve been across the Atlantic so many times I should have a season ticket!...

 

I've lost counts of UK to BKK flights..Even tried all different routes, they are all ****..Worst was probably BKK to Cairo (what a ****ing ****hole, then to Heathrow, then to NCL.

 

I've never done longer than a 12 hour flight and have no desire to. I did London - New York every 5-6 weeks for a couple of years. That got boring very quickly.

I don't mind the flying bit as there is the option to sleep, drink, watch a film, read a book. It's the airport time that is ****e. That said, overnights back from New York were brutal especially as I was invariably hungover on the way back and just wanted a good night's kip.

I take my time and when I'm done I'm done and feel fine in the morning, the are those less fortunate at the moment in my house. I'm off to do the shopping and wash the car them footy and beer later.
