that's him done then. we hawked him round Europe to get him a work permit but at this point clearly it's not happening and this breaks his time in Europe and well... another never was but was talked about flops.
Unfair to call him a flop. Never got the chance to play cause of WP rules. Should have loaned to Portugal, Brazilian players get Portuguese citizenship easier.
yeah... tbh since his first loan he's really done nothing so he should realistically should never have been bought when he had no chance and we knew he had no chance of permit. we needed a Chelsea style deal where they in effect tell a feeder club what to do if we wanted to play this game.
The one player Liverpool are NOT missing - with big summer transfer decision truly vindicated Liverpool made their decision - and it's paid off Emre Can is the player in question, as he departed for free to head for Turin after signing for Italian champions, Juventus. Despite the club's initial attempts to keep the German though - before allowing the player to move upon his contract expiring - Can's name has since barely been muttered on Merseyside. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo...ews/one-player-liverpool-not-missing-15837538
tbh bar him getting one goal where some lfc fans congratulated him... really nobody has really paid a blinds bit of attention to juve or him. we only will in cl knockouts. juves aim was to win cl with Ronaldo buy.
not going to knock jimmy too much, he had the ability to be a class player, maybe attitude has let him down, ie in a german team who was at one point destroying teams and he just assumed because he played for them he was at the same level. only saw glimpses of promise, but then we have seen that from pacheco babel etc etc.
i just checked what he's done... started 9 league games. subbed on in 9. really only a few full 90mins
he's just a squad member there. he left a manager who backed him and liked him for that and we improved as a result. the millions will however soothe his ego. who knows he might be on bench in cl final watching Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo has say on Juventus' £175m move for Liverpool star Mo Salah; Manchester United keen on move for Neymar; Arsenal scouting defender Round-up of transfer rumours from the Premier League please log in to view this image Mohamed Salah (Image: Getty) Juve want Salah Sky News Arabia claim Cristiano Ronaldo has given his approval to Juventus' planned move for Liverpool star Mo Salah. The Serie A champions are keen to bring the forward back to Italy, despite the fact Real Madrid are also said to be interested in him. However, Ronaldo has given the club the green light to start negotiations over a potential £175m move.
bit premature for that argument to be fair, they could easily turn us over. i personally wont be bothered, but i will say it now, we don't have the squad to cope with both cl and league, and rather we put eggs in one basket and got the title.
