Sort of. You implied that other things should have been tried, without knowing that they had. It wasn't a secret, as it has been posted on here before, but some only see what they choose to. An informed opinion is a different beast to an ill-informed one.
I didn’t imply anything should have been done. I said in would have been simple to do other things without CTWD’s assistance & gave examples of what could have been done. It was up to individuals to do what they wanted to. I did everything I wanted to, could I have done more to achieve my aim? Not at all. I did all I could. CTWD need not, & should not have, even been approached as a group for help. Your ill informed opinion on opinions is wrong.
The assumption before April was the merger would be a formality. As it turned out to be. Going through the process wouldn't have stopped CTWD making statements which you would expect a Trust to make. I would have expected a Supporters Trust to make a statement about any forced evictions of supporters from one part of the ground to another.
His concern seems to be the impact on his subscription, without considering if the evictees were paid up members, aor were long term city till they died in other ways. As I keep saying, the singular focus on the group leads it down a pointless dead end.
The merger was a formality. It had to be. CTWD, with an unelected protest group committee, could not make statements as a Trust would. The were a lot of formalities to fulfil before that could happen. CTWD were a one issue protest group. That is the only mandate they had until they evolved into the Trust in 2015.
I just remember it following the 'no vote' & being a right bollox to organise for all of us to meet up to get seats next to each other, having to go the ticket office [remember those days] with a very small window of time, as the [ticket office could not do this by phone / online for some reason? that passes my memory years later. E1 ~E3 & the rest of east stand was an organic fan base that developed over time trying to create an 'area' for fans in football, is like big foam gloves / big flag wavers ... I still feel it was orchestrated by the Allmes & the Ultras / Bruce were used as the 'excuse' to punish the fans

There you go - GET THE KC ROCKING The summer move of City fans from the North East corner (E1 to E3) to the North Stand has, it is widely acknowledged, seen the atmosphere at the KC Stadium improve this season. However there is still more than can be done to make the KC a cauldron of support for the home side and a fearsome ordeal for away sides. City Till We Die would like to work with supporters, supporters’ group and the club to get the KC rocking. The announcement that seats in Block N5, next to the new away fans’ area, will be released to season ticket holders next season offers a great opportunity to create a new singing area. And the existing stands around the ground – including the newly formed singing area in the North Stand led by the ‘Ulltras – can all improve their vocal support of Steve Bruce’s team. We can’t make this happen as individuals. We need a collective of supporters to generate ideas (such as singing areas at the back of stands, and co-ordinating singing between stands) that can be considered by the club when they make decisions about ticket allocations in the future. City Till We Die is able to provide a co-ordinating role for this collective, but we need volunteers to work with this group, bringing their ideas and imagination so that we can approach the club’s administration with some great ideas to get the KC buzzing every home match, from start to finish. Seems this was a massive own goal, I'm suprised your judgement was so poor here OLM. No wonder the Allams made it happen, they must have been rubbing their hands. I'm suprised they arent quoting it as an example of their consultation with fans. Make it as difficult as they can get away with and get rid of the hooligan protesters.
