I’ll be interested to see how good frodon win at Cheltenham on trials day was. There’s nothing to like about terrafort in the prelims he walks badly with his tail in the air nothing to like about the way he goes to post, his jumping has a lot to be desired, but, he’s got an engine on him. It’ll be interesting to see him up against the Nicholls jolly.we will get more idea about the gold cup market after the race. If you fancy frodon I’d have another nibble. I could be wrong and that’s most of the time but I fancy terrafort today if the stable are over their problems.
Getaway trump and al dancer in the betfair. Not much between them but trump gets the nod. Nap of the day for me.
Whoever did the write up for the sporting life yesterday must have been on the sauce all day. Alan king champion trainer?
50/1 into 9s. If he is talented then there will be a fair few enjoying their Saturday evening. Good luck.
I've not given up on my old favourite Didtheyleaveuoutto and think he could go very close in the Betfair Hurdle off a mark of 139 and at the scene of his best performance to date. I was disappointed when he could only finish 5th on Boxing Day but he was giving away weight in what could turn out to be a hot little contest. 3 of the 4 who finished in front of him that day have run again and won, including Mister Fisher (one of the favs for the Supreme) and Rouge Vif and Thomas Darby (who have both won lower class races at long odds on). The likely strong pace and fast surface should be right up his street and I'd give him a very big chance.
If I were to have a bet Easter gold with the claimer or deputy’s Oscar, didn’t get the trip at punchestown now with a shrewd operator.
Come on lads you need to up your game - I’m off to haydock today and as always heavily reliant on your advice . I’ve backed getaway trump and kateson so far ... I just need the remaining six ... over to you
I fear for Waiting Patiently today - I think the ground has just gone a bit too quick for him. Ruth Jefferson will walk the track and then make a decision on his participation but I can see her scratching him. I'd love to see him run and win but with the ground the way it is, its a case of "Heart says Waiting Patiently, head says Cyrname". I was very impressed by Cyrname last time and think he could be true Grade 1 class. Heart still says Waiting Patiently though so no selection (not even in the comp)
I also like Quel Destin in the Victor Ludorum. He has gone from strength to strength this winter and just refuses to be beaten. Smashing attitude, bags of talent and I think he is the one to give Joseph's army the most to think about in the Triumph
