Oh, and life experience on maternal instincts, I have 2 sisters (one with 1 miscarriage and 1 child, one with 4 children) one daughter with 2 children, cousins, sister-in-laws and many friends with children all of them wanted very much. Women who actually want and plan their children have their "maternal instincts" kick in as soon as they know they are pregnant, perhaps all the women in your life experience got preggers by mistake or you were just too thick to realise how they felt about their baby?
