When chanting to a drum can make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, like this does...

....then okay. Until then, No DRUMS.

    SING YOU BASTARDS....

I quite enjoyed the song but those bikes are a pile of ****...and I'm not sure what it's got to do with just singing. English football fans sing and clap.

    No drums.

    No bands.

    No clappers.

    No vuvuzelas.

    No flares.

You stand and you sing your heart out for the shirt. Win or lose, rain or shine. SING......

I try to sing, but most of the songs are pitched far too high for me to join in! I usually have to growl along an octave lower. And I sing in a choir, by the way! But I’m a bass not a tenor. Very frustrating sometimes!

Shout at other people to sing. I do. I'd have people flogged who won't.....except they'd probably enjoy it.

I’ll ask my Borussia-supporting friend, who came to the game with me (we said our farewells outside the stadium, of course!). I texted him the next day, and haven’t heard back from him yet, so it may take a little while to get the info you’re after! (The song sheets may be a tad tear-stained, I suspect.) by the way, he was NOT carrying either a drum or a flag! Just wearing the colours, like a loyal fan of 60 years should.

He came to WHL with me back in 2005. Mido’s first game. Dream debut. He scored twice. Against Portsmouth. And he reminded me onWednesday that when Mido scored the fans started singing “Score like an Egyptian!”. He was very impressed by that - a witty bit of off-the-cuff invention! But I don’t know if the Dortmunder ever do it. I’ll ask.

Best impromptu song I ever heard was when Hateley put the ball into his own net, and the opposite crowd sang “Have I told you Hateley that I love you!”.

Why is our female team called Spurs Ladies, not Spurs Women? We’re in the 21st century now!!!

Looking at the link that hbic posted,
to paraphrase George Harrison (and Weird Al) ...

Your songs are nearly all two sentences long,
your songs are nearly all two sentences long.

    I love those ones. :)

My favourite recent Spurs one was donkey Carroll scoring
for the Spanners at WHL. Their support went with :

He scores when he wants, he scores when he wants ...

    And WHL replied with :

He scores once a year, he scores once a year ...

I was in the away end at Anfield when the announcement came that we should sit down. The Spurs fans broke into a chant of 'Stand up if you've got a job.

Funniest chant I’ve seen was to Hasselbaink by us:

“You’re just a fat Eddie Murphy!”.

I was never able to look at Hasselbaink again and not see him as a fat Eddie Murphy.
