    Slow down there, buckeroo! <laugh>

Let's not forget who was responsible for this mess in the first place...

However, this is the first time that I'm beginning to question whether Emery is the right man for the job.

The players have to take responsibility for today's shambles too, as they were more than good enough to dispatch a side we put 4 past last year with a B team.

But Emery's tactics and team selections have been bewildering and that includes even when we've won matches recently.

Playing an extra defender in your team does not make you more solid. But for some reason, Emery keeps playing 3 at the back to give us more security. But it doesn't work. We are susceptible to being countered on, we get overrun in midfield and width isn't being provided by both fullbacks. If the fullbacks aren't providing width, we have no creativity or guile.

We have played much better and looked a lot more comfortable playing 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3. This was successful for us earlier on in the season, so I can't understand why he refuses to revert back to it.

I said it on the Arsenal board that one of the things that Emery was praised for was his tactical switches and in-game management which got us results. However, he isn't doing this anymore. He's a lot less proactive and is still playing formations/teams that reduce our effectiveness.

In all likelihood, we will probably stuff BATE at The Emirates, but I'm really not confident or happy going into the next game.

73 miles from Old Trafford nearly gets you to Molineux. 75.7 miles.

Apparently a player called Andersson has been flown in from Sampdoria, 22, to possibly replace Toby.

From what I have seen of him he's closer to Verts than Toby, as he's comfortable bringing the ball out of defence and also rarely has to tackle ad he's got good reading of the game

He certainly has the makings of a Poch centre back, plus he's good in the air which would potentially address the issues we've had defending set pieces this season

More than anything else, we could potentially have our centre backs locked down for a good few years if we had Sanchez, Foyth and Andersen in the squad - plus, if we're thrashing out a deal for Andersen now, that means we'd be far less likely to get caught with our trousers down if and when Toby leaves
