In defence of Ayling... and he deserves no defence for the stupid challenge for the penalty... it was his spectacular cross field ball to Alioski that set up the Harrison goal.

Other reading, the wall did it's job - he was very careful when positioning it. <ok>

Apart from the penalty, i thought he was much better, Bielsa's public support a factor.

On Casilla, can he really kick the ball the length of the pitch with seemingly no effort, or does the telly lie?

I always thought the worst thing for a keeper was to be beaten on 'his side (in fact if he didn't trust his wall). If the shot was up and over the wall then credit to the free kick taker or criticism of the goalkeeper for not trusting his wall. Of course Kiko might not have realised the average height in our team is 5'4" <laugh>

Don't say that. Pulis will buy him and have him play centre mid at Boro <cheers>

Now I'm not the resident gk expert but I did earn my badges at Hamilton and Waterlooville in that exact position but I'd always line my wall up, exposing slightly more to the way I want to the striker to hit the ball and shuffle across on the run up. Keep an eye on kiko and let's see if he's doing the same

Also it's time to give a shout out to Jack Harrison.

Slowly slowly he's starting to get somewhere near to being a very effective player for us. Completed the full 90mins plus added time the last two games and he absolutely worked his socks off for the team.

Problem is if Ayling and Harrison start playing well then the boo boys will probably turn on Klich or Roofe before too long.

Just for the record these are the players who have come in for a fair amount of undeserved criticism so far this season...

    BPF
    Ayling
    Douglas
    Forshaw
    Allioski
    Harrison

If we were having poor season then many of those and one or two others as well would have been driven from the club. Hopefully fans/posters will now see that patience is not only a virtue and a song by Take That but an absolutely essential part of supporting your football club.

I'd have given you a bit more kudos if you'd have said 'Patience' was a song by Guns'n'Roses rather than a ****ing ****e boyband:rolleyes:

You aware of the Glasgow rhyming language associated with this club? Just in case you hear of any Jocks talking about Hamiltons & haven't a clue what they're talking about .....

I still maintain that Harrison's accelerated improvement of late is hugely down to Allioski at LB, and the relationship they've developed. I'm not desperate for Douglas to return. He's a good player, but for me he's never fully connected with the wingers, much preferring to carry the ball himself, as WB's like him tend to do. Unfortunately, I prefer Allioski as a winger. Has he got a twin? :)
