Based on another thread, how long before someone points out that her surname, Pattie, is spelt correctly / incorrectly?

Apparently, Jamie Waltham's put himself in the North Ferriby squad for their game on Saturday, that should go down well..

I think it's awful, but you could see it coming a mile away. It was amazing to see North Ferriby playing in the league below the Football League and to see them winning the FA Trophy against a full time side in Wrexham. But the second the investment stopped, it was always going to come crashing down. Their best bet is to do what Scarborough did and start over, aiming to become a non-league side that just play for the sake of it and live within their means.

It's a great shame it has come to this, just goes to show what having the wrong owners in charge can do.

Ironically this situation has been partly created by the Allam's, if they had not taken away the U23's games then that revenue would have helped to keep things going.

It really takes some doing to destroy 2 clubs that they have had their influence in.

These idiots have banned the guy who does the North Ferriby fanzine from attending games.

And today, they've been kicked out of the East Riding Senior Cup, for fielding an ineligible player.

The FA are likely to reject their appeal on the ground move/name change (possibly tomorrow), then they've got the winding up order to deal with.

    Proper messy.

Maybe the safety officer misheard and was told it was insightful.

North Ferriby United liquidated over unpaid debts

North Ferriby United Limited has been wound up following unpaid debts.

The semi-pro club, who play in the Northern Premier League, said they could only pay a proportion of the outstanding £7,645.25 to Chappelow Sports Turf Limited.

The debt had been incurred since February 2017 when payments had stopped . The club said it was “a very sad day” but they vowed to “start from scratch”.

District Judge Robert Thomson told both parties at Hull County Court this morning: “This is a debt that has been hanging for quite some time.

“If the debts cannot be made then I have no option to liquidise the company North Ferriby United Limited as of 11.10am. I appreciate the club’s honesty in saying it cannot pay this debt.

“It is terribly shattering for a local football club to end like this.”

The Villagers’ game against Bamber Bridge on Saturday will have to be postponed.

The club’s chairman, Carl Chadwick, who attempted to offer a small payment scheme for the debt, said he had done all he could to reduce the wage bill and keep the club afloat following Jamie Waltham’s exit at the end of last season.

Mr Chadwick told Hull Live before the hearing: “The club just doesn’t have this money following the sponsorship from the start of the season running out about five weeks ago.

“We haven’t had many people on seats, but we’ve tried all we could to keep the club afloat.”

Judge Thomson said a small payment would have “not been appropriate”.
