Why doesn't he get pulled up on these bullshit statements? -
“In the Championship that is normal,” said Assem Allam in an interview last week. “I see on a Sunday they have the attendances for all Championship (games) and it’s within the average of attendances for Championship clubs." The average attendance for a game in the Championship, the 5th best attended league in Europe, last season was 19,822. Only 3 clubs are averaging less than us this season, .Wigan, Brentford and Rotherham.

I know he is. But he comes out with these statements and doesn't get pulled up on it. Maybe our award winning interviewers can't pull him up because they are unaware of these things themselves?

I was a pass holder for many years and for various reasons let it lapse possibly because the old folk I sat with couldn't afford to keep their seats at the full price. One old dear behind me still came on her her own in memory of her departed husband and used to save a couple of quid each week to pay for her pass...Anyway, that's beside the point, what I wanted to say is that the club have all my contact details but...never once have I had an e-mail or a letter inviting me to renew or consider reviewing renewing my pass or offering some kind of sweetener if I did. That really is p*** poor customer relations when they know they have a big fan base but don't make effort to contact them!

The Allams are quite clear how to run a successful business - they hold large stocks of generators so if anyone needs on the can supply immediately - the same philosophy is in place at Hull City - they hold large stocks of empty seats just in case anyone needs one - no-one tells them how to run their business

I didn't know it was 630 quid for a pass now? Is it?

£468 is the most expensive standard membership.

My old upper West Pass was approx £600 so moving down to the lower west stand has saved me some money under membership scheme. I look at the people sat nearby in the west stand, the majority of them are of pensionable age, so they are having to pay more for their seats. Very few kids sit in the west stand as well, which helps prevent flasks getting knocked over.

I am sure there are many like you Grumpy who have given up their season tickets. In my case supporter since Raich Carter days, season ticket holder later after I esstablished my personal best location for viewing, Had same season ticket location in Derby during the Clough/Taylor era when I worked there. Had the same season ticket location at the Philadelphia Union in the USA where I now live and used to work. Continued my season ticket gaining senior citizen concession status at the Tigers because I thought I was helping the club in a small way although my attendance was at games was only 3 or 4 times a year. Since I retired we spend more time in the Hull area and then "the best run club in the country" started the scheme to eliminate senior citizen and youth concessions. They also had the temerity to tell me I could sit in the corner where it was cheaper! That was the last straw. Gave up the season ticket and am now vey selective which games I attend when I am back in East Yorkshire and I still sit in my preferred location.

Patronising guff about pensioners and flasks. I am 68 and prefer to stand. I know other over 65s who still go and get fed up of younger ones telling them to sit down and be quieter.

Only after you have passed the interview with Assem, Ehab and industry influencers which gives you permission to apply if you are approved.

We have been buying season passes since 2000 for 2 Hull relatives and they have recently contacted us to say they will not be attending beyond this season. Apparently among other reasons they have lost enthusiasm and motivation.

Look at these piss poor businessmen. People will only be saving the £1 cost per game with a pass.
