You've only got two supermarket chains - Coles and Woolworths - well that's all I saw last year when I came down to avoid our epic run-in last season. Not too hard to get products listed.

JA does my nut. His comment about forcing the rioters to join the Army like it was some form of punishment really riled me up.
I don't doubt that he is Charlton through and through, but that sadly doesn't stop someone being a tool.
I try my best to ignore him, however that can be a little hard to do with all the name changes.
Unfortunately posts like his have dented my enthusiasm for the forum, and it's the difference between checking everyday and getting involved with the banter and maybe browsing the posts every few days and not commenting much. I know others feel the same.
That said, it is a public forum and everyone is entitled to get involved and have their say.

It would be a great shame to lose you, Crack. Stick with it. AllHell has acted decisively within the last 24 hours so it will improve?

    Ain't that right, JA?

JA is all over this forum like a cheap suit, I have tried to show tolerance towards JA but like other posters most of my browsing is actually done on my phone and it can be hard to keep up on weekdays as it is let alone when Ackworth is creating 4 threads a day including one where he replies to himself 10 times

I have also met the man before having been stick next to him on the coach once to an away game he is for real he is no wum but you don't want to be trapped next to him on a coach to Swindon

I feel sorry for AHLL - a lovely bloke genuinely torn over what to do regarding Acworth and frankly AHLL shouldn't have to be so actively involved in the modding of this forum.

Also you have to bear in mind even if you have muted him all it takes is for someone else to quote his posts to see the latest tripe Acworth has posted

The thing that annoys me most is that folk refer to him as 'JA', which is way too close to my name for comfort ;)

Ahhh Coles!!! I love the aussie version of a supermarket.
Whereabouts in Oz are you, er, Oz?
I'll be jetting out to spend Christmas in Berowra (just outside Sydney) on the 14th of Dec.
I absolutely love it out there!!!

Yeah, Oz is ok if it weren't full of Aussies (dont take it personally, Oz, but i'm sure you know what i mean )
Spent 9 months working in Sydney around 2003/2004 - when England beat Oz in the Rugby World Cup. I was the only Pom in the office, so i did give them all a bit of stick. couldnt get on with the flies and roaches. Lived in Balmain and also Dee Why for a while.
Had a good time whilst there, the company i worked for was prorbably the best i have ever wotked for - and they wanted me to stay , nut family issues drove me home.
Keeping the CAFC connection, i remember watching us play away at Toon live in the Sydney Casino at Darling Harbour at 3am - think we lost 2 or 3 nil - anyone remember that game?
