I've read that Cardiff are holding off payment till the whole investigation is over. They will be hoping for any reason not to pay. If Nantes had any involvement, no matter how small, Cardiff will hope that they don't have to pay. Don't blame them really. What if they hand over the first installment then find out that Nantes put him on that plane? Like I can fully understand Nantes wanting the money. Its sad that the body hasn't even been buried yet and they are seemingly fighting over money. But its £15 million.
Puerile comment. It’s nothing to do with you or me if anyone outside of the 2 clubs. Whatever happens will be a business concern.
Yet you managed to write that while stunned? You don't know what literally means, either that or you don't know what stunned means. You've had mare on here fella. Sent from my Moto G (5) using Tapatalk
Cardiff haven't paid up, despite signing a legally binding contract with Nantes to buy the player. It sounds like Willie McKay, the players agent, is responsible for arranging his flight. but surely Cardiff should have insisted their player took the flight they had arranged. Ultimately the player decided to take the ill-fated flight, despite two or three aborted take-off attempts. Poor ****er.
Oh, this irks me to no end. **** happens, get on with it. There is a stark difference between an event that drives the news cycle and another that changes history. You knock down two towers, Ok, we mourn, we lower the flag, but when that flag returns to the top of the pole, - we're comin' to get ya.
Bit rude. I know its nowt to do with me, but as this is a forum I'm allowed to talk about it. Bloody strops.
It was low of your club to leak the fact that Nantes want their money to the press. They've lost one of their own, it's hard enough for them, at the moment. Stop the drama, you lot have lost nobody and pay the bloody money you owe. Crass club.
How do you know what’s in the contract? The tragedy should never have happened. Period. No one had hindsight.
OT. Must say I am enjoying the Netflix programme (as s football fan)and will always have a fondness for SAFC after the magical 1973 cup win (I can still remember the 11 players) plus the amazing support at the old Ninian Park when Knightons team gained promotion in 1980.
I don't need to know the full details to understand it is legally binding. Once you've bought and registered him with the PL he is Cardiff's player and their responsibility. But I will hold my hands up if Nantes agreed to take responsibility for/cover the cost of his travel and anything else the player wanted to do before he kicked a ball for Cardiff.
Apparently they are holding a minutes silence before this week's European fixtures which somewhat bears out what I said at the start of this thread. it just goes on and on and on and on and on...
