Politicians in the French National Assembly have just voted through measures for the French flag and anthem to be displayed in classrooms – but the EU flag must go up as well.
They voted through an amendment meaning that France’s national flag and words from the national anthem has to be put up, but the European Union will now have a presence in all classrooms as well.
The measures will apply to primary and secondary school classes, in both public and private education facilities.
Originally, the proposal was only for the French flag to go up, but this was changed.
It comes after the latest poll showed that French support for leaving the EU is at record levels. 40% now back Frexit, remarkable given few politicians openly make the argument for it.
One who does is the pro-Frexit MEP Florian Philippot, who responded to the news by saying: “The French flag yes. The European thing surely not!
“I recall that he was in the European Constitutional Treaty rejected by the French by referendum. Our country is France, not their EU!”
His pro-Frexit colleague Joffrey Bollee voiced strong opposition as well: “The European flag has no place in our classrooms! What a shame to impose this ideological symbol on our children!”

Muppets...

Don't twist it bob you know we are talking about people getting medicines and you claimed that people aren't getting them. Prove this to me.
Where did I claim that? I said they are stock piling medicines. That is actually happening. You are a spin doctor ellers. What enters your head when you read things, twists around to suit your own ignorant agenda. Who did I say wasnt getting them?

Those are the sort of ill-informed comments that annoy people like me. Unfounded rubbish. Ever heard of 'cry wolf'? You know exactly what we were discussing and when found out you have twisted it.
You should stick to plasterboard.

<doh>:emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm:1980_boogie_down:spin doctor. Please read it all again, dont let it enter the part of your brain that mixes it all up to suit yourself and digest it properly. Then come back to me

You never had a car fella, just waffle. You couldn't even work out that the shortage of plasterboard due to demand has pushed the price up.
Theres not a shortage, there was for a week last year but that was it. Yet again totally wrong
:emoticon-0116-evilg:emoticon-0148-yes:
I wonder if theres a shortage of other things like food and medicines and services then prices will rise also.....hmmm interesting

Oh dear.<doh> I really cannot debate with people like you. You don't actually know anything. Look it up then come back and apologise.

Here's an example in the last day.

https://www.voanews.com/a/pompeo-visits-hungary-to-raise-concerns-about-china-russia/4781472.html

Eastern EU member states are getting frustrated with Brussels telling them that they have to take their quota of Middle Eastern and African migrants. Meanwhile Putin is taking a charm offensive to these ex Soviet Bloc countries. It could become an issue.
That's all a bit Games of Thrones-ish isn't it? It says more about America's paranoia than the intentions of Eastern Europe. They hate Russians and could not wait to escape in the aftermath of Glasnost. Watch any sporting contest between Russia and one of its former 'colonies'

I don't think the 10 plasterboards you buy each week counts as a global shortage. However if you believe it's all down to Brexit then so be it.

Interesting that you pretend to know my business or the extent of my business. Where do you get your information from?
Very low standards ellers, very low indeed

I think countries like Hungary and Poland are happy to let Brussels believe they could return to Mother Russia. It means they don't get pressured too much on the migration issue, despite taking EU money.

Put any price you like up now, just blame it on Brexit. It'll run and run...

Well it’s a very good example of the damage Brexit will cause the U.K.

Any wally Brexiteers who continue to ignore a direct impact of the situation should have some fairer understanding of the consequences

I promise post Brexit that any disadvantage to the U.K. caused by Brexit will be posted and solutions requested for debate especially to the posters who buried their heads in the sand
