He will for this week but next week who knows? He has proved to the country that he is not PM material. His dithering and non-committal to anything has showed us that he is playing games. Although TBH I was listening to some bloke on the radio who was saying that Corbyn has stuck by his guns for years against the EU... So I guess I must give him a bit of credit for that.
I experienced my first Brexit price increase yesterday. Plasterboards at my local merchants have gone up by %6.3 due to the uncertainty of Brexit with other increases to follow.
Bob and if you believe plasterboard has increased in price just because of Brexit alone, then you need to seek help old chap, are you talking major well known merchant or a “local” one just trying it on.
But Comrade Jezzbollah has always hated anything not socialist or communist in idea, the man cannot be trusted to run a Bath, never mind one of the biggest economies in the world.
Plasterboard has been going up over the last 5 years. CLS (stud work wood) has also been going up. As a reporter said last week... "if you want, you can blame the snow on Brexit". PS It has also gone up in France which is nearly twice as expensive as the UK.
Back in your day every summer was long and glorious and every Christmas it snowed, so we can’t blame Brexit for the weather.
I wasn’t telling porkies re my posts about plasterboard lads I only did a small one yesterday New offices in Luxembourg for an existing client Moving out from Fenchurch St 450 staff
Materials in France about the same as here imo Admit however there isn’t the same product competition in my experience Pays to shop around Just buying 4 300l water tanks German made of course £287 each in the U.K. €169 each in France €99 in Lidl Germany but no delivery to France Online you need 3 Amazon accounts imo nowadays ... saved over £1000 buying Festool items that way for my renovation projects
It’s French Ellers and although in the U.K. we do have new gypsum mines it’s still still cheaper to ship the raw material from Portugal There is a new 75 year supply for the U.K. found in East Sussex so only bad news is that not enough UK trained staff . I will keep you informed when I know whether the French decide to move all production for the U.K. back to France. It’s look highly likely at the moment as it’s projected that plasterboard will rise massively... new market opportunities to sell a product to the U.K. Source a load of mates at St Gobain Their future is very promising loads of money coming their way as they have a massive slice of the Englishman and his castle
Put up any price you like now, it's never Brexit driven. It is always Operation Fear. We can go on and on making these points or all try to be a bit more balanced.
