The Season ticket situation is a big problem for the Club. We are riding on a wave of feel good. If they had the Season Tickets on sale they would shift quite a few. Plus sorting out the players next season whether we are in the First Division or the Championship, needs to start now.
Dushitelet is running us on empty. Season tickets will not be advertised until a new owner takes over. Simples.
The Belgian will find the money for the Witch out of the playing budget …. if the Belgian isn't gone in the next four weeks …. she'll be back @baraettmattesvensson has a breakfast bet for anybody who feels that the Witch will NOT be back by May if the Belgian still owns the Club!
Seriously though, I don't think Meire will be coming back to CAFC. She was re-telling her horror stories of abuse from Charlton fans only the other day (in the Daily Torygraph I think). Perhaps Roland will find her a job at one of his other Clubs.
If Meire does return as CEO, then the 'for sale' and 'take-over' myths will be exposed as lies. Why would any potential new owner want to inherit her as part of the executive team at Charlton? Unless the new owner is Richard Murray, and he's done a deal with his mate Roland to let her have her old job back. I wouldn't put it past either of them. In fact if Murray bought the Club and gave it back to Meire to run, I would say Duchatelet was likely still pulling the strings from behind the scenes. Not a real take-over at all, or a real new beginning.
