what got me just after i posted that i popped into Tesco and halfway round that came on the piped music pap they inflict on us . Yet i still hear some fools don't believe in the proven jinx phenomenon
If i had clicked add to dictionary by mistake or the mobile predictive picked it up, then it'd all get stored in that custom word list. I clearly had a ****load in there
TBH i couldn't believe what he was saying publicly but he did sort of get a reaction of out kante and hazard so it got called genius. he seems a hard taskmaster and old school too. These modern players don't seem to like it at all.
So my list of questions about chelsea: a) Azpi - is sarri seriously looking to move this guy on? Is he nuts? b) Silva and rutiger - IMO this is half their issues with christensen as back up. IMO this is the root cause? anyone else agree? c) alonso; not a great defender? d) Jorginho v kante argument. I don't get why its an argument? Sarri wants a deep playing playmaker... but why does that mean kante has to hare about box to box.. makes no sense to me. e) striker debate? Why do chelsea seem to wants a donkey type up front anyway? costa, big thick ignorant, not quick... morata, tall but classy, not quick, giroud, big and thick too... now higuin... can't they see pace is where its at???
Don't think so. Chelsea really look like they are going backwards. Another manager seems to be failing, complaining about players and clearly issues off the pitch. Hazard will be gone this summer and the best young players have cottoned on to there being no future for them at Chelsea. Future with Abromovic is cloudy and other than Pulisic coming in (mistake for him imo), they haven't got many positives and will badly miss out on Champions league money and prestige. @BobbyD thoughts? Happy to have you disagree on some points. I just think you and Arsenal are a bit stranded a the moment
I'd have to agree that Chelsea look like they've been in chaos since mr conte decided he'd enough and started orchestrating his exit. My view is the delay in just paying the guy off last year delayed sarri's arrival and plans and thats had some level of knock on. Sarri has now also hit a wall. I'd have to wonder whether these clubs over extend themselves at times. I was expecting to see Chelsea play hudson odoi and ampadu and bring them on this year but they drew us in league cup and then never did so. Sarri's treatment of hudson odoi looks to have cost Chelsea the players signature as well.
I think their squad is pretty average tbh. Azpi is fine though has declined imo over the last few years but Alonso is a dreadful defender uless you'e talking about FF. Luiz seems better suited to replacing Jorginho than being 1 of 2 CB's. MF would be better if players attributes were better used . Something like Kante Jorginho/Kovacic Willian RLC Hazard Higuan
I was thinking more about the current City team. The way I see it they are currently in a class of their own. Yes, they are not running away with the title a dozen points ahead and untouchable. But their current form with the return of DeBryune is as awesome. If you look at the rest of their games I can’t see a match where they would not go into thinking that must be 3 points if they play to a fraction of their ability. It would not surprise me that they had already suffered their usual blip and they would win all their premiership matches from now. They will end up on 98 which effectively means (MITOs point) we cannot afford a loss. Most teams in the relegation zone will go for damage limitation if they are down 1 or 2 goals. It will be a surprise if they dropped points now even in their local derby.
Think i have been pretty clear before but we are a club in transition. Even 3 years ago i didnrt really think we had the best team when we won the league and since then our transfer policies gone to pot. I still think we would be stupid to get rid of sarri, just make it clear he is in charge. Im surprised sarri hasnt been blooding in more players, the likes of hudson and ampadu. Its been easy to play against us for a while now, 3 at the back and 10 men behind the ball and we often struggle. Its been that way since contes 2nd season. Tbh the guys on my board are happy to transition for a while if we are playing our young but so far sarris been reluctant to play them full time. We will see what happens but as far as i know no one was expecting us to challenge until next season. I just hope roman wont pull the trigger as usual
Chelsea managers are so conscious of the Damocles sword above them that they’ve never given youth a chance. They have to provide instant results. Sarri is a dead man walking. He could be sacked this week but in any case it looks like the players are not responding to him. Just like Mourinho with the mancs. It just needs that triggering event. I am pretty certain that if Shaqi had not scored his 2 goals against the mancs, Mourinho would still be around to cause fear in their dressing room.
Thats still not an excuse, especially when the youth players are arguably better than the first teamers.
Surely you'd have said the same thing before almost all of the games where they did drop points? Just because they hammered the Chavs doesn't mean they can't slip up again.
Players power, Chelsea players do not want to play for Sarri anymore exactly what happened to Jose Mourinho at Manchester united.
Sarri would welcome Roman’s call https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/11634240/spb-sarri-on-roman-translated-skyinitaly-mxf
