Which reminds me, heard a true story yesterday concerning a friend....
He was at a festival, camping. Woke in the middle of the night realising he had a touch of something probably related to the consumption of festival food. He knew he wouldn't make it to the bogs, so scrabbling round in the tent he found a plastic storage box, which he hurriedly emptied, and proceeded to use for the rest of the night, both ends burning, so to speak. In the cold grey light of an unpleasant dawn he thought he should phone his son to come and rescue him... now, you know where the phone was, don't you?
When he told his service provider they politely declined to take it back in return for a new one.

Hope I haven't put you off your tea, folks.

If I can break into this happy conversation - made me laugh though. Sitting here listening to Clannad being very emotional and giggling away at the thought of needing to use that mobile

But serious folks. Been working and haven't sorted me reading ticket - that's the place not the library - and just wondered if anyone knew if you can turn up and get a ticket to join the see of yellow. Any thoughts please 'cause this is my best fixture of the year - I live down the road and get to travel in with reading fans on the train. Always good banter. There not a bad bunch really :emoticon-0110-tongu

Tx Norway. Yeah I'll give Reading a buzz tomorrow. Just always have the fear of collecting a ticket and discovering I'm a yellow blip in a sea of blue - thinking about it I guess the sea should be blue  I had to suffer that at Newcastle two years ago. Although I had a great seat and the 'orns where way up in the sky in the corner I still wanted to be with them.

The vic, no matter how many sides it has, is great and home but to be with the traveling faithful I think is more special. To go away is an investment in time and money. And I guess it is a bit like the Alamo but you get to go home afterwards

But for you Norway all games are away I guess :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Norway would be good to meet you for a pint or even two. seems odd never to have met, as far as I know, anyone from here. I'm between Basingstoke and Newbury but can get to most places in central southern England.

How about a pre-match and perhaps we could get a few together? Spent a few evenings and saturdays with you over the recent years. It would be good to share a pint. Perhaps we should try to get it together here after the reading game.
