Whoever wins the title would have deserved it. It is almost inconceivable that a team on 60 points after 26 matches is only 3rd. This City team may not be invincible but it IS one of the best teams that ever played in the premiership. If they concentrate I can see them win all their top 6 matches. We have to win 11 matches and one draw. Then there is nothing the city slickers can do about it.
What a thrashing for the Chavs. I wonder what this does to their confidence for the league cup final?

Let’s hope that they are still on that kind of form when we meet them. I thought they were good but in fact their away form has been abysmal. They’ve not scored a single goal away in 2019. Honestly I cannot see us not beating them nor can I see City struggling against them in Wembley. Their 4th position I thought was secure , being 11 points ahead of the mancs with a massive GD advantage of +22 compared to -1. Now the mancs have both a better points haul AND GD.
Probably the only squad better is City's squad last year. Sure, others have had better focus, such as "the invincibles", but, the depth of pure talent is unrivaled.

there's a reason spurs are being written off they play city at the eithiad and are already 5 points off them yeah? the only issue in this title race now is will city win all 12 games. they are on for the quadruple now. lfc won't win all 12. we will be lucky to win 9. thus we have already blown our best chance. were level in city away game. were ahead v Leicester were ahead v West ham harsh but it seems perfection is required.
While it's possible I'll keep believing we can win it. City look very good at the moment but have done at other times this season and then dropped points. Massive game Vs Utd but not the end of the season even if we lose.
the challenges to come with cl will do for us. we got over hurdles at Christmas fantastic but city cane right after. we ****ed away the fa cup and had rest and then proceeded to **** away a huge chance to secure the gap needed to get through cl. city to win the domestic treble imo. They will prob **** the league cup up now

If you look at things rationally. a) City have done this in top 6 Have you noted what they got last year in this table? they took 24 points in it. They are on for the same right now. b) City at home: 13-0-1..... for 49 goals, conceded 11. c) city away: 8-2-3 goals for 25, goals away 9.... d) city v the rest: City have ****ed it v the rest and away from home. All 3 prem losses on the road. e) City should be in 6th round of FA cup.. fairly handily. City play cheslea in wembley while we play league (catches up the games) f) both us and city are in CL action So rationally: a) City have to play one more away game than home game in their last 11 games. b) city have 8 of 10 top 6 games over and done with. Utd and spurs to come. (probably hardest two, but only utd is away game) c) city don't quite seem to do as well away from home and against teams who don't come out, teams who just stick in game and see off city's best times of game. My view is city clearly have better squad and their game kills sides who give any space. they are virtually unbeatable at home (we aint too bad either though) They are cleaning up all the comps this year. My one hope is around CL time now... bu i know in my heart we are not equiped with the team we have to cope, we needed the cushion we've already squandered.
