Yeah but is getting **** in really the answer....i think not, he may as well gone and got a few in from Leiston, couldn't be any worse and would have cost nothing!
Sorry but your backing of Hurst does not stack up, yes I am with giving managers time, after all I say Lambert needs til Xmas but NOT WHEN YOU HAVE LOST THE CHANGING ROOM!

The changing room thing - that’s bad eggs at the club. Bobby Robson had to deal with that at Newcastle and we don’t blame Bobby Robson for it. The owner should have nipped that in the bud.

By the way, the players are now apparently all happy so where are the results? It was nonsense.

Hurst has to go Hampy. Poor manager, tactically and in terms of man management. Honestly believe we’d be where we are had we perservered with him.

Well it could’ve been. We might not have beaten Wigan and Rotherham under Hurst. Nothing I saw under his reign made me confident we’d win more than that fortunate away win versus Swansea.

Under Hurst we were a lot closer to the opposition whoever we played. A long, long way from great but a lot more solid and competing at least. Teams just walk through us now and the result, especially away from home always feels inevitable. I was at the Rotherham away game and we were superior albeit the same issues with creating clear cut chances that we had today, that has still not been addressed.

Not that I think he was great but I don’t go along with the witch-hunt. I think he would have tried different things and settled the side down instead of doing the same things that are never going to work and sleep walking into oblivion. We are not even trying to find the right formula. There’s no sign of progression.

Having said that, today was a lot better. But while it felt like we were playing better there was never a time when we really looked a threat to the goal and defensively it was shocking.

Well that was as painful and embarrassing as I expected.Yet again we have a period of reasonable football with no end product and concede soft goals.

FFS Lambert settle on what you think is your best 11(barring forced changes)and see if they can establish some sort of momentum and at least try and chip into the points deficit.

As to the infighting can’t you all just give it a rest for a couple of weeks it really does make us look a pathetic bunch.

I'm sure emotions are going to be running a lot higher around the Wigan / Reading games. Norwich at least are a top side and although it hurts I'm sure we all expected to get beaten today.

Well you won't have to worry about that next season because we definitely won't be in the same division.

There wasn't much between the teams when we last played them what today showed was what confidence can do. We are so short of it hence we may play well in spells but don't have the confidence to score and then make stupid mistakes at the back Norwich on the other hand are obviously a confident team take their chances and show a bit of resilience under pressure.

I hope today was as low as it gets. For me Ipswich and Norwich were both at a cross roads after we last beat them 10 years ago and the decisions made by each club after that have effectively determined where each of our clubs are today. Norwich appointed effectively their greatest manager of all time and Ipswich their worst. Lambert got them to the PL and effectively this has meant they have invested effectively so that they are a yoyo club. We appointed Keane who had more money than any other Ipswich manager and ruined the club and since that point Evans has not been willing to back any manager with a competitive transfer budget since which came to a head last summer when an already depleted squad lost basically it's whole strike force and also seemingly our goalkeeper who effectively has kept us out of a relegation battle the past few years.

The irony is the biggest reason Norwich are where they are today (Lambert) is the manager who effectively is taking us down without a whimper... This seems like a sort of sick joke.

My only hope is, I remember the feeling when we effectively consigned Norwich to relegation singing 'we'll never play you again' how quickly the tables turned, let's hope the tables turn as quickly again.

We are currently a mess, and Lambert was brought in to cling to survival this season, he's failing quite dramatically however whatever happens we need a good summer and there is some green shoots if managed effectively. Lambert certainly hasn't shown any signs of turning things around but I also think it is completely unfair to judge him on this season, most of us thought we were down before he came to the club and he hasn't managed to perform a miracle to change that. I question some of his decisions but on the whole he's had his hands tied and even the best manager I've seen at Ipswich (George Burley) I questioned some of his team selections.

Lamberts record hasn't been great since he's left Norwich but all the club's he's been at have been on the decline, he performed miracles up the road and that can't have been a fluke. He needs to be given more time

Lambert did well to get us a double promotion when we were in league 1 and in financial trouble and most of us credit him with saving us at the time along with McNally Grant Holt and Delia of course .

Houghton also did well and got us a respectable finish and let's not forget Alex Neil that brought us a play off victory , and the riches that came with it.

During that yo yo period Ipswich have stagnated .

Lambert dragged us up from League 1 to the Prem and it's looking more and more likely that he will have to try again next season with you lot.

To be fair there is only so much he can do with the squad he inherited and **** all in the war chest .

Evans needs to sell up or back his manager.

Lambert signed 11 players in his first summer at Norwich including a striker from League Two Shrewsbury. The irony, you just couldn’t write it.

I think that all the arguments for giving Lambert time applied equally if not more so to Hurst - what Lambert has shown this season falls so far short of the job he was brought in for and what he did 10 years ago has no real bearing on what he can do now, but that’s just the way I see it.

I have absolutely no confidence in the club with Lambert in charge.

Yeah I remember now. Just imagine, if he had any loyalty could have easily been Colchester in the Prem.
