I like Ross but why is everyone denying that the football has been really ****ing poor all season, and that we do not pressure teams for the most part despite being superior in terms of ability?

No manager is untouchable, the amount of late points dropped is getting tonpiss take standards, and there’s no sign of a change of system or options during game.

The biggest worry isn’t the excess draws, it’s the fact we’ve deserved to lose many of them.

Team has now had 5 months to ‘gel’ and there’s a massive lack of fluidity and chemistry there, clear as day.

We are still handily places, but that’s not going to last as now Barnsley and Luton are motoring, first half of season lots of teams were up and down.

We need to sharpen up and it needs to happen around about now.

For the record I still think it will be us and one of those 2.

I don't think anyone's denying that the football has been poor recently and needs to improve, the issue is with the ****ing stupid concept of sacking a manager in the middle of a successful rebuild because of a few draws. Ross is being tested now but you can't write him off before he's had a chance to respond to it.

Oh aye, I agree with that, I think he’s a great fit for where we are as a club.

He absolutely needs to find a plan B though, and needs to be more offensive minded, we can’t open up teams, we aren’t pressing teams.

He needs to solve that as we certainly have the players to do it.

Agreed, he needs to get on it and work something out because we have the attacking talent to make it work. Personally I respect his work and would give him another chance even if we don't get promoted because he is young himself and will improve as he gets older.

It just pisses me off seeing people hit the sack the manager button without giving them a chance and conveniently ignoring all the good work they've done in favour of being a ****y knee jerker.

I don't mean you btw mate in case you were wondering.

I know you don’t mate, as I’ve never even come close to suggesting it, I’m fully behind Jack.

Maybe there’s a fear of losing, we’d be better off losing a few trying to win, 2 loss and a win is better than 3 draws.

Aye I think so, we've got genuine attacking quality but we aren't making the most of it so maybe tweak the formation and get one or two more of them on the pitch and go for it.

Ross is still finding his feet and I guess he's focused, understandably given we were in free fall, on solidifying us but maybe it's time for him to realise he's done that already and start letting loose somewhat.

Good point today away against a team who have rolled over some other top teams. We need to get it out our minds we have not a god given right to win every game. If you can’t win the game get a point. 37 games on the bounce we have scored. All credit to club, manager and players. We are going to be right in the mix at the end of the season exactly where we want to be. As Big Sam preached many times two wins on the trot puts a whole new complexion on things. The object of the game here is to win promotion and that is exactly what we are going to do. Haway the lads!!

If you want to gain automatic promotion these are games you should expect to win.

Our problem is still being able to kill games off.

I fully back Jack but he needs to start finding the answers soon!

I think you've nailed it. Not sure if we have the best squad in the league, but likely we have the deepest. We should be running teams into the ground, and then rotating our lineups. Guys like Oviedo and Maguire are too creative to be completely out of the squad.

I think there must be something going on with Maguire. Maybe a fall out or an attitude problem. He's one of our better players so he should definitely be getting in the match day squad.

No way we should have been undone by a hopefull ball like that. Our CB's didn't snuff it out but they slowed the attack enough for reinforcements to arrive. Leadbitter was late, Matthews was there, he got into decent enough position, but didn't mark anybody.

Who do Luton and Barnsley have in their squads? I keep hearing “bst squad in the league” from our fans which, to me, seems arrogant. I have no idea who the others around us have in their squads.

You’re an idiot fir wanting Ross sacked. Guess you’ll want Harry Redknapp as a replacement?

Ross has done remarkably well to turn us from perennial losers to a team who are remarkably difficult to beat regardless of how poorly we play. 2 losses and scored in every game. After struggling to win for years? Yeah get him sacked

You actually sound just like them up the road with every manager that isn’t Rafa!

Your judgement is and always has been poor, I seem to remember you blindly backing Coleman, touting Cattermole as something he woefully wasn't. You shouldn't let your judgement be clouded by your personal feelings for these men.

I'm not for sacking Ross but we need to improve quickly., performance and points wise. This board and others would echo that, we are dull to watch.

We draw too many games, we are negative and grind out the wins we get. I take on board what most opposition managers have said , we are bang average.

Not arrogant, not idiotic just pragmatic enough to see, like many supporters , we are not scoring enough for a top 2 place.
