    Watched first few episodes of Russian Doll to see what all the fuss is about.

    Not great, not terrible, passes time. Probably funnier if you're into into drug culture. RHC would like it. :bandit:

    A bit like ground hog day but very gritty.

    Starts out with this red headed woman looking in the mirror in the bathroom during her drug fueled 36th birthday... She keeps dying on her birthday and every time she dies she wakes up back in front of the mirror again. She dies several times and episode and never survives the day. Sometimes she dies within minutes of restarting at the mirror.


    At first she thinks she's just on some sort of drug trip then suspects she's crazy, then thinks there's some religious explanation.

    It's comedic but more a drama than a sit com.

    Thought Venom was a typical Marvel film. It passed the time, but nothing to rave about 6/10

    Watch it mate. I've not liked all of Spike Lees movies but this was very good... typical makes you laugh then makes you feel horrified... and as usual links past with current starkly

    "Sorry to bother you". Loads of people loved it in the reviews. I can see why people liked it but i was bored as **** and thought it overly pretentious and try hard.

    Blackkklansmen is far better

    Nice to see Roma got best film at the Baftas. Good effort for a B & W film with subtitles <ok>
