As I said on match thread, unfortunately we have seemed to amassed a higher proportion of ****s in our support in recent years. Hopefully they get long/life bans but I'm a believer that these things should be self policed which they undoubtedly are a lot of the time.
Does anyone know what they were 'detained' for, presumably a public order offence? And by detained and had details taken do they mean arrested and then street bailed?
Yeah, it would have been a Public Order - harassment, alarm & distress. That’s a max fine of £1,000. Obviously Saints will add their own punishment in addition to the criminal charges. Not so funny now
Not defending their actions but how is this any different to thousands of England fans singing “10 Germans bombers” which is basically seen as a joke now by many. No consistency.
That’s fair enough then. But during every World Cup/Euro a good few thousand sing it in the fan zones and nothing is ever said or done.

Dont think it’s specifically your club, every club has its fair share of idiots unfortunately. Just with more and more social media and tv cameras these things are picked up and shared more easily these days.
Yeah true but there's been a definite rise at Saints in the past 4/5 years too. Not saying we have any more than other clubs btw just that our own number has increased imo. No doubt there'll be a couple of morons who think it's' bantz' to chant murderers when you lot visit in April.
Unfortunately as IBWT says all clubs have their idiots who think it funny to belittle players and clubs. Unfortunately the cycle in a way has returned to the 50's and 60's. It took quite a while for clubs to wipe it out. Lately though it has been creeping back wholesale...Then the fans get involved with each other....the rest is history....... Not again please...............
