The worrying thing is most on here basing their assessments on dodgy streams... Get your hands in your pockets you tight f***ers and give the club some of your dough. If WJ can do it there really is no excuse ???
Not going to start moaning (for a change) but 69% possession 17 shots Only 4 on target 9 corners Only 1 goal Nough said
Oops yeh...I'm still in Holland as it's way more fun over here with their liberal attitudes. Might do some window shopping later...
Odd, the scratching shed tweeted that Harrison had a good game. Didn't see any of it so can't comment. Going to look into this VPN malarkey.
He wasn't dreadful, but I haven't really been convinced by him yet. Can't fault his effort, but too often his crossing leaves too much to be desired..
Just back from the match. On top for 15 mins, bad 15 mins where they had a few chances, crosses across the face of goal etc, Flat end to first half. Second half after the goal it was pretty much all Leeds. Had a spell of 10-15 mins where it looked like we had to score but it just wouldn’t go in. Eventually got what we deserved. Better side over 90 mins well worth the point. First half was none typical Leeds, disjointed no real rhythm. Roofe and Bamford making the same runs etc. Not a great game quality wise. Second half, Pablo made the difference. Couple of things you may not get from tv. It was blowing a gale and it’s p*ssed down in Teesside in the last 24 hours. Slippy and difficult conditions explaining a lot of underhit and overhit passes. It was also a bad toss to lose, as in the first half we were playing directly into the sun, which was less of a factor in the second. Whichever, it wasn’t vintage, but we came to a promotion rival, showed some grit, kept going for the equaliser and got the least we deserved. Phillips and Pablo picks of the bunch for me.
Agreed. He gets into so many good positions with the ball at his feet which then result in zero opportunities created. Totally frustrating most of the time, although I think it was maybe his blocked cross which lead to the corner for our equalizer...so an assist of sorts possibly.
Harrison was largely anonymous in the first half but showed for the ball, worked hard and played his part in the second. Just lacks a bit of X factor to take advantage of some of the better positions he found himself in.
Afternoon lads, just got home from work and seen the result, how did we play, did we deserve the point, or deserve all three or were we lucky to get anything?
I'd say we more than deserved a point, it was the usual sort of game for us, dominated possession, had a lot of wayward shots off target, Boro could've been two up first half, but fluffed their chances, and we hit the post and had a couple of clearances from 6 yard area, and left it late again to score our goal
Working my bollocks, you were in the pub... It was a frustrating game to watch as you'd expect when playing Boro. We had a better 2nd half and deserved the equalizer.
We really do need at least one of Derby or Bristol City to drop points today...otherwise it will be 8 points to 7th and they would both have a game in hand. That gap was 13 points not so long ago.
