There isnt a rule to ban simonovic or brown...

The incident was in the refs report when asked ...he saw them and deemed them within laws of game/he dealt with them in game .

McKenna and Morelos where sent off for violent conduct and because rangers appealed , that's why it when to teh panel ...

Rangers own fault for appealing an obvious red card.

It’s not an obvious red card.

You can’t refer to rules then disregard said rules when it suits you.

Morelos did not stamp, did not act violently and did all he could to not stand on McKenna. It’s not a red card.

 

No excessive force
No brutality

Ergo no red card

 

In the same game Pud is referring to where the ref dealt with Brown and Simonovic "on the park" the ref also dealt with Darnell Johnson when he booked him for his tackle on Izaguirre.

Didn't stop the compliance officer citing Johnson though.

Go figure.

But the rules of the panel mean brown didn't get referred.

I didn't see Morelos incident live but replays from different angles show it either to be a stamp, fly wee foot left in or him lifting foot away .

I thought overall both players deserved red card and if Aberdeen had appealed , I would have expected an extended ban.


3 ex refs watched it back , decided red card stands and because he's had a few previous reds then it gets extended .

McKenna was the aggressor but I thought Morelos was acting teh **** ...especially the rolling about pish ...

Well when Sportscene spends an inordinate amount of time on a flashpoint in one match and doesn't show a flashpoint in another match one can only assume they have a reason for doing it.

He's an easy target for teh media as they know he will more than likely do something ....and he usually does .

The extended ban wasn’t for the appeal it was for previous offences.
