How can you question having a minutes silence the first game after he has been co firmed dead? It isnt exactly a big ask not to talk for a minute and of course it wont effect the outcome of the game. And why was that the reason they beat bournemouth, yet the arsenal game was before that and they lost that? It is a tiny gesture that wont make much of a difference to anyone, it might just be nice for the families to see that the footballing world shares a small degree of their grief.
Perhaps there should be on going one minute silences for Cardiff matches through till the end of the season. How about the captain of the opposition presents flowers, and remembers the player Cardiff lost so cruelly. Perhaps the crowd should pity them, and the refs allow some leniency because of the trauma. Or, we do what we do when tragedy strikes, and millions are killed in war, or by a tsunami. We remember, we pay our respects & we move on. This was a preventable accident. Nothing more. I'd like to hear more details about why it was arranged, how it happened, and who is getting prosecuted. Yes you, Willie McKay, and your dodgy promises & cheap transport.

TBF, Cardiff said their thoughts were with the families of both Emiliano and David when the body was identified as Sala's.
I was gutted to concede so late last weekend even though a draw seems like a fair result. The home match against Palace was as awkward as I expected but both results today mean that we need to take the full three points today and cannot afford to take the foot off the pedal. A win will see us go five points clear of Cardiff and I think that this will make it difficult for them to catch up. It will certainly put us as the masters of our own fate. It is interesting to see Ralph now resort to a more settled side and it is apparent that he has identified players upon whom he can rely. I just hope that Bertrand makes it back in to the squad. The home performances have been better than under Hughes but the results do not reflect this improvement in my opinion. A win today is essential but I can see it being a scrappy 0-0 draw. Can't understand the negative comments about Redmond on this thread. He is our player of the season by a country mile.
A draw against Burnley may be the fair result (as often said), but I don't care if we get unfair wins...we haven't had many of those recently. We are owed a few.
Its just a minutes silence for 2 people that died. What is the big deal? Bit of compassion, show your respect and move on. That so difficult?
Done that, two games ago. Watched B'mouth laying flowers and rolling over. Now I'd like our lads to get on with their job, and be allowed to focus on the task in hand. That okay with you sweet heart?
United putting out a changed side against Fulham because of their PSG game....bastards. I know in theory a weakened ManU side is still good enough, but how often have we seen that unravel.
Just arrived at the parking before my lads first game at st Mary’s. Traffic from Newport was great which I thought was a good omen. Sadly as soon as I got into Southampton, my car started stalling at every set of lights good omens and bad omens...must be a draw coming up! Fingers crossed the car starts again when I get back to it after the match
This could be a great day. A win would see us 10 points above Fulham and 5 (effectively 6with GD) above Cardiff. Not to mention confidence, momentum and keep the unbeaten run going and climb a few places in the table. COYS
