Not sure who this Mr Chap is, but I guess you would vote for him anyway.

I presume from this 'standard' reply of yours that you would dispute the pesumption of my post. Bearing in mind that Labour are left of centre, together with the Greens, and the Lib Dems (just), and the SNP - would you deny that the majority of the electorate are voting for left of centre parties ? In any really democratic system this would be the result of an election. So you can further say that the Conservative government is not 'The Will of the People' because the majority voted against them.

The guy in question has a different constituency to where I live so not possible to vote for him. My local MP is the excellent Sir Mike Penning.

The Conservative Party is the most popular political party according to the electorate under the UK's voting system. There is no current appetite to change our system of electing our representatives from either of the two main parties or indeed the electorate.

another lie , tories are not competent with finances , that’s not even debatable , tories are more proficient at self interest and since they are the political arm of the ruling class they have inbuilt mechanisms to propel myths , judiciary , the press , and civil service , three crucial parts that lay down proceedings and ensure things remain in favour of a tiny minority , they also retain brutalforce in case things get “ sticky” , not sure if you were around in 1974 when the army were deployed at heathrow , the ruling order feared that heath govt couldn’t cope and were ready to step in , led by the queen <laugh>

  6. Could you not move house so you can refuse to vote for him on principle? It's what the rest of us would do!

And of course a change to our parliamentary system would rectify this out dated imbalance.. And also put a stop to oddballs impeding the 'will of the majority .'

The vast majority of the electorate are mightily fed up by the shambolic behaviour of Parliament and government... Our parliamentary system is currently a joke... As is that if our 'special relationship' ally USA

Interesting how you cuddle up to those who indulge you and ridicule with thinly veiled humour every post you disagree with.. Everything with you seems to be black and white.. Life just isn't like that and you miss an opportunity to benefit from dialogue with those with different views to yours.

The knife crime under this government has risen in direct relationship to the reduction in Police budgets. And now it seems to have spread to Vicarage Road. Over 50% increase in five years. Why cannot we even provide enough money to keep the ordinary person safer?

What is the cause of the deaths and maiming currently affecting much of France during the civil unrest? Is it lack of money or proper government leadership?
