I like this team, and it does look good on paper, maybe a reshuffle to accommodate Mathews by moving O/9 in midfield in place of Power could be argued, but its a very close call and we now have real competition in all departments. No Watmore for instance and Baldwin now on the bench when he has been our best defender for most of the season its a sign that you have to deliver to keep your place, its onwards and upwards from here. <bubbly>[/QUOTE]
Yeh it’s hard on Watmore but at this time maybe
There will be times I feel he will e in the squad
    Great competition at the moment
They will all have to be on there game as changes will happen
    Just my opinion

Hi Nacho, just read this article (may be the same one) which he claims that the intensity and pressure of our support caused so much pressure he couldn't give his best. Surely a true professional should thrive in that situation and not suffer as he did, he did try but didn't deliver. Did earn brownie points for saying he loved it here though.

The amount of quality in that team should be more than enough to deal with the likes of Oxford.

But, as Newport showed with the Smogs, a team like us are a huge scalp.

Sod them, I'm going there expecting us to grind them into the dirt.

Oxford have a good record at home, so I'm expecting this to be one of the toughest games of the season so far, hence why I've gone for a 1-1 draw.

I remember the last time at the SoL where we spanked them 7-0. I went to the Manor in the return fixture and it was the most boring 0-0 I'd ever seen.

A toughie, but pressure and class should tell. Would have liked to have been there today, as I've not been to the new stadium, but no can do. I'm going 2-0 to the lads...

I’ve got a feeling this won’t be close- but as much as I can see a 3-0 4-0 for us , can’t help worry it might just be one of those games and we get tonked

any of those teams mentioned is ok, Nice subs bench now as well their stadium isn't daunting like is it although they drew with Barnsley and beat Portsmouth there. 3-4 Sinclair comes back to haunt us with 2 goals ! Grigg 2 goals as well (if fit). I reckon Gooch, Watmore and Wyke might start next Tuesday. Matches outside the 3pm Saturday time can be watched on safc site for £10 I have watched a couple. and the under 23's free.

Yeah, I saw that. Annoying as I'm actually only 5 miles away from the Kassam right now but on duty at work!

    On the train to Oxford.

Looking forward to seeing our newlook first team in action... and bagging 3 points.

ground is bloody kiles put of town though, and nearest bar is in the cinema/bowling alley complex.
