Times have changed though Ern - personally I believe pubs were far more likely to get away with serving under age kids back in those days. If not there'd be no pubs left. But I agree - of course kids lie about their age - always have done. That said, I struggle to believe a guy of 27 could honestly have mistaken a 12 year old for 19. Maybe I'm naïve but I can't buy that he didn't twig she was much younger in her behaviour and attitude.
He was 27 or something too. He claims he thought she was about 16. I wouldn't dream of touching a teenager at that age.
I would have guessed about 17 from that photo (but personality probably would give her away). Either way she still looks like too young for anyone over 23 or so. A teenager could get caught though.
Hopefully. He'll probably end up cracking jokes about it around a washing machine, like Adam Johnson. All wronguns in there, just have to hope there's somebody who sees through the BS
This sort of ***** rape divides people on this site, we’ve seen it before. Some lads think he was conned... WTF? What an actual load of ****ing ****.
I’ve had sex with a 15 year old girl. I was also 15 at the time and that’s when I lost my virginity. Where does the law stand on this as without googling it, I genuinely don’t know ?
You say that, I went to school with a girl who looked far older. She was going clubbing at 14/15 and not getting id’d. Think she lives in Manc land and ****s all the footballers. Haha
We get slaughtered by parents, politicians and the media for teaching sex education for teaching citizenship, values etc cos its all "PC gone mad" yet these things address responsibility, honesty, personal safety, respect for others etc. I know I work at the extreme end of schools but even when I worked mainsteam schools there were kids who were violent, hateful, aggressive, racist, sexualised, disturbed, non compliant and did not care about anything other than their immediate want. Society has produced a section of violent, selfish, aggressive and hate filled adults. Then you can add in the adults who have drug and drink problems. All these adults are having kids and are failing those kids and society has decided that it will not spend the required money to save the kids from their parents. We are the only primary school of our type in our borough and we can take a maximum of 32 permanent students and 8 on a short term basis. The idea that there are only 32 kids needing our support is s farce but cuts over the past 30 odd years mran we are lucky...some areas do not even have 1 school. There are next to no kids homes left so poorly looked after kids, out of control kids and abused kids are left at home or simply given to s relative who is often scared of the natural parent. We have returned some of the most damaged, aggressive and violent children to mainstream schools where they get GCSEs and have a chance of a decent life...lots pass through the net and imho the level of teen violence, stabbings drug and drink problems and suicides are down to this. I have no sympathy for abusive adults but I do feel for the kids they once were. The girl in this story may have lied but she is a child. She is a very damaged child and if she is not to grow into a ****ing **** bag adult she will need a lot of help which I hope she gets. I personally do not believe the bloke did not know so find it hard to give a **** about him to be honest...but I do worry about whst is going on in that childs life to make her think that what she did was a good idea. Sorry for the rant but the idea that teaching staff are to blame is a very unfunny joke....nothing personal but its difficult to get paid a pittance, do a demanding job and read and hear how people like us are to blame for other people ****ing up their children. Edited cos originally this part was terribly worded and ****ty ...some parents find life difficult at times due to mental health issue and in a lot of cases family support schemes can and do support these families in coping but money for this work is so short that it does not reach everyone who needs it which means those parents (who were brave enough to risk everything to seek help,), their children and society lose out.
I'm not sure how I feel about you suggesting that I've failed my kid. It kinda makes me think, **** you. Ultimately, you are the one teaching my kid in school.
My memory is that if two 15 yr olds have sex as long as it was mutually consensual no criminal act was committed.
There are also adults who have mental health issues such as depression. All these adults are having kids and are failing those kids and society has decided that it will not spend the required money to save the kids from their parents.
Yeah it kinda also read like that any adult with drink n drug problems will fail their children which quite obviously isn't true...
Yeah this whole "its no one's fault really" bollocks is just that imo. He's the adult, he has the responsibility, for whatever reason he's failed in that responsibility. Case closed.
But if I was 16 that would have been a criminal offence. Could have quite easily of happened, had it been a couple of months later after I'd turned 16.
Don't take it so personally mate. As with everyone not all teachers are great and not all are. I'm sure you are brilliant personally but I'm sure there's plenty of teachers who are part of the problem alongside parenting. I also bet there are just some kids who go off the rails even with his parenting and teaching
