It's a difficult one, but overall I'm personally not convinced with how safe sex is taught. Usually the one teaching it is uncomfortable and not always equipped imo Further to that I do believe as a young teenager a little info is dangerous as many think they now "know it" However I will add that the centres that do the handing out of contraception etc are not the same as teaching same sex. In one locally the green and pink haired multi pierced bloke is not one I would like my kid taking advice from tbh Edit. Just to be clear the guys attitude is well kids are gonna have sex so give them the tools. Me personally it's about yeah they may but they shouldn't first and foremost
I get Libbys point. Its the same as the drugs situation that I'm getting behind, in that I want all drugs legalised and people allowed a safe place to take them. That then takes away the dirty HIV needles that are lying about and stops them dying from a dodgy batch because they will have checked first in a centre to make sure it's clean. People are going to take drugs regardless so lets make it safe for them, and us. Same with the kids. Unfortunately, it's going to happen. It always has. So if kids are going to do it regardless. Let's keep them safe, clean and child free.
Not an easy answer. But again I will emphasise that the handing out of contraception isn't the same as sex Ed.
I can't work it out. Sometimes I look and I can see the child features in her still. At first glance, you'd think she was above 16, yes. After spending 5 minutes talking to her and looking at her. I reckon I'd work it out.
I broadly get what you're saying and actually ageee with a fair bit in terms of how it's taught etc. I just thought the original comment was a tad simplistic that's all. Aren't they on about dropping the age that sex education? Not sure I agree with that but sadly it's an effect from the way society is going as has been discussed.
s where I grew up there was this 13 year old, she was 5'10 and had a body of a 20 year old, she'd have fooled anyone. A string of lads shagged her over time, all of them in their 20s. but that doesn't matter in the UK, because the whamenz, even when the whamenz are to blame, the man gets done. The Ched Evans case shows how utterly ****ed the legal system is in the UK. CSP is full of ideologues, and they are determined as **** to get rape convictions any way they can, thanks to feminist ****s like Jess Phillips who lies lies and lies again We're all for jailing rapists, but this is not what is happening. Real rapists are hard to catch and convict, but people like this lad and Ched Evans, easy meat.. Trust me, this all stems from cancerous feminist ****s, a good feminist is DEAD feminist
Not sure it's that simple mate. The needle exchange thing was meant to be about getting needles off the street and do some of what you suggest. In reality it's a mess. The original needle exchange was about someone trained, behind a barrier asking for returns of old needles. This didn't work very well as no one was returning them. Then it went to pharmacy's making money by supplying the service and you had untrained workers getting abused and threats of violence if they didn't just give new needles. So they aren't getting returned and are strewn around and a danger to kids etc
That doesn't ring any bells with me, fan. We have needle exchanges around here that work alright. You have to take your old needles back to get your new ones and I've never heard of smackheads not returning them as being an issue.
Yeah there is a whole thing about what gets taught when. From sex Ed to same sex to drugs etc The only thing I find uncomfortable with it is that it's a money maker for organisations and often that outweighs the impact it's supposed to have One head of a local primary school I spoke to hates it with regards to how things are delivered
I dunno...like I say...I thank God I don't have a daughter However if I did...I don't think I'd appreciate schools living my life for me and making my choice for me as to how I deal with it.
To a degree. It also shows our legal system works in that he was also able to be aquitted aftefr being found guilty.
I wasn't really talking about that in detail just using it as a comparison as it's the same principle.[/QUOTE]
Is that centres set up specifically or pharmacy's? As I said initially they were specific but have now been rolled out. So Lloyd's have a contract and I have seen an addict kick off because he was told it was an exchange not a free needles thing
There's both around here. I used to go to one set up specifically as a needle exchange when I was on the gear. There's also a lloyds that people can go into in the town centre.
Have to agree, without seeing or knowing the girls personality I find it highly unlikely a 12 yo could pass for 19, but, I suppose it's possible.
People need to get it out of their heads that they can just **** a girl because of how old they think she looks. I don’t have any sympathy for a person who claims to have been conned into ****ing a minor, who is subsequently battered or put in prison.
