However our 2-1 success against Burnley back in November finally ended that woeful PL record in matches played on a Monday night. Tickets remain on sale - away allocation tbc. This will be United's fourth-ever Premier League visit to this venue and we're yet to be beaten there, winning one and drawing the other two.NUFC: Miguel Almiron has now received his visa and returned to the UK to join in training ahead of an expected debut on Monday night. Ok let us know when you make the effort and we'll judge you then. Oh this is your version of effort...
Think we have a chance to pick up another couple of unlikely points in this one - if you'd asked me 2 weeks ago I'd have said best we could hope for would be a 0-0 draw but the defensive displays vs City and Spurs have given me confidence! We can stop other teams scoring, while we usually have a chance to score a goal ourselves - just pray Atsu isn't on the end of it.... Lejuene has been absolutely crucial to the defensive side of things, everything looks so much calmer and more composed at the back with him there, especially Lacselles. Just need Schar to stop trying to impersonate Shelvey and play it simple now. Would like to see a 4-5-1 with Almiron in the hole but think we'll stick with 5-4-1 with him coming on late off the bench. Going to say a sneaky 2-1 win with Perez opening the scoring, Jota equalizing and Almiron scoring the winner off the bench. #dreamer
I reckon we will stifle them to death for 85 minutes then nick a late winner. Almiron will storm off after 75mins muttering that he didnt sign up to play as a 6th centre-back.
I know you know I knew what you meant but how else am I meant to use that Lion King photo? please log in to view this image
Left-back Paul Dummett (hamstring), goalkeeper Karl Darlow (elbow), as well as midfielders Ki Sung-yueng (hamstring) and Mo Diame (hip), have all recovered from their respective injuries and are available to take on Wolves. Shelvey and Elliot the only remaining injury worries. I'd be going 4-5-1 for this one: Dubravka Yedlin-Lacselles-Lejuene-Barreca Diame-Longstaff Ritchie-Almiron-Perez Rondon Woodman,Schar, Fernandez, Dummett, Ki, Hayden, Atsu Although we will line up 5-4-1: Dubravka Yedlin-Schar-Lacselles-Lejuene-Ritchie Perez-Hayden-Longstaff-Atsu Rondon Woodman, Fernandez, Dummett, Barreca, Diame, Ki, Almiron
I reckon we are going to play some really good football in this one. We will run rings round them. We will be playing neat little triangles. We will look like a real team - they will hardly touch the ball. We will be Dancing with Wolves.
