His first wife claimed that he raped her as revenge for his bad hair implants, though she later said that she didn't mean it in the criminal sense. I've no idea what that's supposed to mean, to be honest.
Probably in the sense that people who don't know a damn thing about the law believe that, legally, you can't rape your spouse
Like Trump's lawyer at the time, Michael "How many charges?!" Cohen? https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump-lawyer-you-cant-rape-your-spouse
Luciana Berger is facing a No Confidence vote from her constituents Gee, I wonder which word will be shrieked the loudest in response to this news...
The thing about this (which likely won't get reported by The Usual Suspects...) is a few months ago her local party sent her a letter not-too-subtly stating she was elected as a Labour MP, yet she's far too busy giving the Daily Mail et al ammunition While I certainly don't agree with the move as she's not guilty of the sort of outright betrayal that Kate Hoey was (as Hoey was campaigning at the last election saying she'd oppose No Deal only to go back on her word the second she was announced as winning the seat, hence her No Confidence vote last year) I can see why she's not popular with the local party given her selection was very dodgy * She was on one of the all-women shortlists drawn up by Gordon Brown, which were unpopular for various reasons * There's long been the belief she was parachuted in, especially since during the selection process she happened to be living with the sitting MP and her husband, who was in charge of the selection process - which also happened to be the address where ballot papers were returned * She has a poor record of meeting with her constituents, creating the belief she's MP for Wavertree for the sole basis of her career and nothing more * She tried to stand as Mayor of Liverpool in 2016 and didn't make it past the first ballot - and this one shatters the Narrative about it being a Corbynist purge or the rise of antisemitism on Merseyside as this happened two years before she started butting heads with Corbyn and accusing him of antisemitism at every opportunity
The Worlds largest ‘Democracy’ (yeah, right) places a minimum age limit of 35 for the office of President. AOC is 29. New to Congress, but knocking it out of the park on a daily basis. Vested interests will seek to destroy her I’m sure (and may succeed even with Dem support), but why the hell wouldn’t you want this lady in the highest office? Should her age really invalidate her against, say a 70+ lying, corrupt, ignorant, racist, homphobic mysoginist with clearly identified MH issues? Just asking for a friend.......
To be frank, nothing she's said in here isn't something that we don't know already. Loads of past campaigns in the US both republican and democrat have been known to be funded by big pharma, oil and gas, the military industrial complex and dodgy super pacs by overseas interests. Trump fan or not, these revelations are nothing new. As for the President being outside of severals laws that would put most people away for corruption and collusion, again they've been in existence for a long time already. So again, do you point the finger at the guy in charge of the WH now for using the system to his advantage or those that changed the laws to make this possible way back when? Essentially, there's a lot of people (dead and alive) that have to take responsibility for what the US has become.
According to The New European, UKIP attendance in the EU parliament has skyrocketed in recent weeks - as they're all there to ask what their post-EU entitlements are I do hope the words "door" and "backside" were featured prominently in every response...
My point (as a 60yr old) was about the suitability for Office - and how age should be less of an issue than other factors. AOC is making general points about the lack of control over the political system. Not new for sure, but worth making, with a new younger vibrant voice. The fact that the current incumbent of the WH is as I described is a linked but separate issue to the main point.
It's similar to what you constantly see on Twitter where people dismiss what others say not because what they say is incorrect but because they have yet to cross the threshold of whatever the arbitrary number of followers they should have before their opinion carries weight - or this mad idea that Angela Raynor shouldn't be listened to as she has a regional accent and not a "politician's" accent, whatever that happens to be Meanwhile, on whatever planet Leavers inhabit...
One of the problems is that Congress were always in a position to remove an irresponsible or corrupt President, so the rules were loose. Pull a Nixon and you could expect to be removed from office and possibly face charges, although he was pardoned. There's absolutely no way that the Republicans would do that now, though. The standards of the office are gone.
Candace Owens once again demonstrating her talent for racing to the bottom of the IQ scale, where her followers are waiting for her
Of course, the rest of the Alt Right ****bags came out in force to defend her for speaking complete and utter ****ing gibberish borne of a terrifying level of ignorance The Truth™ Just a reminder that Paul Joseph Watson is responsible for * Claiming that the MAGAbomber was a false flag attack organised by the Democrats ahead of the Midterms * Doctoring footage of Jim Acosta's spat with a WHite House staffer to make it look like Acosta assaulted her (which was shared by Trump, meaning it will forever be enshrined as part of the Presidential record) * Claimed that Virginia Tech was a black ops missions ordered to increase demand for stricter gun control * The usual inside job conspiracy bollocks not just for 9/11 but also the Oklahoma City bombing So when that scumbag comes running to your defence, you should re-evaluate your priorities
She's over here promoting Turning Point USA, a far-right group with links to the Russian funded NRA. She also claimed that the MAGAbomber was a leftist.
She also claimed that Kanye West designed the logo for her BLEXIT campaign ...and when Kanye West said "No I ****ing didn't" she claimed that anyone suggesting that Kanye designed the logo was a puppet of the leftist media who was spreading their lies, although she did seem to put a lot of effort into apologising for this thing she claims she never said and only a fool or a communist would believe she did It takes effort to make Priti Patel look comparatively sane, but she does put a hell of a lot of effort in...
