Exactly. Very provocative by the council.

If that council response is legit it is indeed very aggressive.

I think it is legit because Tony has commented on how supportive Ealing have been by contrast.

We managed to majorly annoy the owner of Cargiant and now we seem to be annoying the H&F Council too.

The Barcelona idea is just plain stupid. Our owners have lost tens of millions of pounds. I hope they're still at QPR out of love but I'm pretty sure they are looking for some return too.

We have the advantages of London and the draw that can be for some players. We also have the spectacular disadvantage of land that is worth huge amounts of money hence all the interest in the LCS.

Also, surely H&F are only interested in the views of fans who live in that borough and pay their rates to H&F?

Out of interest, how many of us are in that category? Not me.

If we move out west we might as well give up the London status. Being at SB gives us an advantage and we can call ourselves a London club. Even though I live in Berkshire I actually enjoy the trip to HQ

Moving out West is a hugely risky venture as will kill the soul of the club. Would another entity arise Phoenix like (a la MK Dons)? Who knows?

Here are all the grounds we have played at in addition to LR. I’m not entirely sure where some of them are, but perhaps a few are in more welcoming boroughs than H&F and we could still legitimately call it ‘home’.

Welford Fields, London Scottish Ground, Brondesbury, Home Farm, Kensal Green, Gun Club , Wormwood Scrubs, Kilburn Cricket Ground, Latimer Road, Royal Agricultural Society showgrounds, Park Royal Ground, Kensal Rise Athletic Ground, White City Stadium

But in my lifetime it has always been LR.

Without doing the research, I can't imagine ready plots of land waiting for a new QPR stadium at any of those sites or surrounds.

It seems.to me that part of H&F's beef is the partnership with Genesis. Woild.they have given us an easier ride without that added dimension?

IF, and it’s a big IF........we decided to move out further west or south west, how far would Rangers fans be willing to go....Ealing ? Hayes ? Uxbridge ? (Just picked those 3 out of my head for starters) or would fans DEMAND we stay in H & F at all costs

What is it with people these days where negotiation has to be confrontation?!?
Fair play to Ealing; they saw an opportunity to partnership to turn virtual community wasteland into an attractive proposition for both Ealing and it’s community.
H&F needs to sit down and discuss viable and possible options, while the QPR board needs to openly talk about what can be done/afforded for both sides, for employment and for the community.
Staying in the area has big positives for both us and H&F Council. So get on it and sort it out in a proper and civilised state for ****s sake. Put your egos under the chair and work it out!!

The council don’t have a problem with the Westfield/BBC developments as well as everything else that’s going on. Obviously QPR isn’t part of their plans regardless of the benefits to the community - they must think Primark is what the community need.

Let's not forget they have Chelsea, Fulham and QPR in the borough. Seems to me they've decided that's one too many and guess which one they are going to sacrifice! Only a conspiracy theory but not that far fetched given their statement. Shameless if true in any way, shape or form.

H&F statement extraordinary given cash strapped councils need for wealthy investors in their infrastructure. Contrast H&F dismissively leaking Tony’s investment plans with Haringey, which sacked a senior employee for leaking mildly negative comments about spurs cleaning arrangements at the new stadium. The message is clear: H&F will not work with our owners. We will have to leave the borough to get a new stadium.

I live about 200 yards from the eastern corner of Palace's ground just off Holmesdale Road, they were granted permission to redevelop their ground up to 34,000 capacity last year but even with planning permission they've hit snags that may put the start of the project back from their original date this May and that's with a helpful council so I think any thoughts of a new stadium with H&F are really a bit of a fantasy at present...

Agreed and in a bizarre sort of way, helpful.

The Board can blame the Council when we build in NW10, or wherever, and that makes it an easier pill for me to swallow.

Maybe we should view this with 'Brexit' eyes. A radical change will be much better in the end as we are constantly told by some! (Not my view on Brexit, just for the record, but it's an analogy. Please don't make that the issue on this thread!).

It wasn’t really a serious suggestion RTID.

Not in a position to ‘demand’ anything Stainsey, though the club will have to do a lot of consultation to make sure that gates don’t collapse with a move. Personally, I love Shepherd’s Bush, the pubs and fast food joints, but I’ve had enough of the stadium. I’d like to be somewhere similarly urban (the Christie stadium delivers on W12 and nothing else for me, it’s in a wasteland), but don’t think that’s likely. Obviously we need decent transport links. A40/M40 corridor better than M4 for my day, but I like RTIDs NW10 suggestion, because that is the postcode of my birth.

Yes, I'm an NW10 boy too, but, other than Old Oak, the only likely spot I can think of would be Park Royal, which is fairly uninspiring.
