You wouldn't want any power over your life or money to be given to someone you didn't trust or have faith in, particularly if, after an argument, he tells you to go to hell.

Tell me why that's a ridiculous comparison. Tusk is very powerful.

Tbh its pretty ridiculous. What he said isnt right but he basically holds no power over us. Might as well ring it in as corbyn and co hold power over us theorectically

I don't want Tusk to have any influence over my life or my money, particularly after today. I won't be alone

Tax - That's wrong, the EU sets VAT rates. You pay VAT, so the EU rules affect you. There are lots of every day stuff that affect you. Light bulbs, hoovers, toaster, bits and pieces from all kinds of machinery. Why do you ignore the influence Tusk has over money? Is that not important to you? Have you see the extravagance of the EU? Some astronomically expensive building on the Continent. Any over here? Then there are the huge expense claims of the MEP's... I could go on...

He will still hold power over us goldy (if we are going by your definition) purely by if we

1. Want a trade deal
2. Want to trade with EU (maybe he will enact some weird rule to stop everyone trading with us)

This wont ever happen though as he doesnt have the powers say hitler had.

Just looked up the VAT rate stuff as i thought we could set it to what we want. Seems we csn set it to anything above 15% but cannot be lower than 15%.

Not sure we would ever reduce it the government needs our £££

You have to factor in that Chinese New Year starts in February so if you were born in January you will be the animal from the year before. Which makes me a rat.

What’s this got to do with endless arguments about Brexit? Should be on the what animal,in the Chinese zodiac are you? Thread.

Actually to be precise this changes . Chinese new year is lunar calendar based so can be from last jan tto mid feb. Need to look up when the actual full moon was in the year you were born

If you read my post I said I knew he was a Eurosceptic but after listening to that video I was shocked just by how much. Plenty of others in the press and media have said the same. Are they mupets as well? Tell us all when you heard him referred to the EU as Frankenstein?

I suppose when a video of corbyn saying israel is this centuries 3rd reich would surprise you to? It wouldnt surprise me if that ever came out. Everyone knows what corbyn thinks

Ah bless all the remoaners are out in force today spouting their last ditch rubbish before we leave the mafia EU. Booby you have already misinterpreted my first post and got the next wrong. Try and keep up or at least get your acts right.

Dont be rattled mate, i only asked how many times you will tell us that all the remainers have turned to leavers as its quite a regular occurence. Im not sure there are anymore remainers left the number of times ive heard it

Funny that video only surfaced 2 days ago. So are you saying you saw it before? A simple yes or no will do.
Let's play you at your own game.
Did you see the Corbyn video before it surfaced 2 days ago, yes or No?

There are plenty of remainers left. I am just saying what I heard on the radio that many people are changing their opinion of the EU. Even as I type they are discussing it on the news now. So who is wrong, me for reporting what the news is reporting or you who hasn't heard what I have?

No, don't dodge a simple question. You have tried to mock me so in defence I am asking you to clarify it.

I see. Perhaps you would like to remind us corbyn is still a brexiteer each time too

That's cool and neither had I. That's why I was surprised to actually confirm his feelings on the EU. Voting against something doesn't give you are clear picture as it could have been in protest.
I think sadly Bobby we have a couple on here who just want to disagree with what I say. Sadly for them this time it has backfired as it was the first recorded info of Jezza describing the EU in that way.
PS love the Avatar.:emoticon-0148-yes:

I would say sometimes you are condescending and it happens on both sides. Tbh its just a bit tit for tat/banter (very fine line) As long as it doesnt get out of hand i say.

Cheers for the compliment.

Theres a few here who absolutely cant stand each other (on this thread) anyway. I wont mention any names <laugh>

At the end of the day its everyones own opinions.

No Jezza makes me laugh tbh. He is not a statesman and could never be PM (although in these times it could be a laugh). We all know he is a Eurosceptic and we all know he wants to come out of this with the least damage. He will let May cock up and then blame the Tories. His only problem is he is alienating some of his MP's and members. If Brexit is a success then he will be finished.

I dont think brexit will be a success but mainly because i think we will see it being blamed (although brexit will not help as its bad short term economically) for the recession thats coming (i have also thought its been coming for 3 years now so wtf do i know).

Theres always a big recession ~every ten years and we have been due one a while. Brexit will probably be one of the triggers for it (worldwide problem).

Too right I will throw in a few digs if posters are being condescending and I have apologised to some when I may have over stepped the mark. However these days I just post information and don't really get involved with the debate as much. Brexit is divicive and people really get heated over it. Both sides have their views and both are right and both are wrong. For me we voted out and must leave. Get it done and close this thread and talk QPR. :emoticon-0148-yes:
