Can @pulled off at halftime have a word with Ivor and reactivate my account. I'm missing the banter bummie.
Chief wum BexleyBoy now saying Josh Parker is a better player than Karlan Ahearne-Grant. He's never seen the dude play! Why oh why do people respond to him?
BexleyBoy exposed as a Clueless WUM Shocker !! Lee Bowyer confirms today that Oztumer was the mystery player at the Charlton training ground at the end of last week- and was the striker Charlton failed to get over the line. BexleyBoy said it was Mo Elsa at the training ground
Elsa must have felt a right tit staying in that hotel in Bexley (last Thursday) waiting for the transfer papers to be signed?
Technically true, but why buy a football club if you're not willing to fund the inevitable losses? How anyone can still support Duchatelet is staggering.
There's actually a new problem here if we are to believe DeTurk (). I'm sure I read that the club is becoming more attractive now as RD in his infinite wisdom brings down costs, and we are now losing a mere 500,000 a month. With the stadium we have, we are financially inviable at this level, and not a lot better in the championship. We are losing less money. We no longer buy players, we pick up freebies. The CEO left over a year ago and we currently have none. All player sales now cover losses, though there are those who still believe the training ground is going to become a citadel with the Lookman money. The only buyers who would find this sort of stuff attractive are the potless and the dim witted. Why buy a club in order to fund mediocrity. That is what Duchatalet is doing. If the new owners are planning to continue to do the same, we can look forward to ongoing repetitions of the Grant/Parker shennanigans (and that's if there are new owners at all - deTurk has assumed the same sort of level of Credibility that Meire had at the Valley). The only reason to hope for new owners was to look for someone who had money to invest, back Bowyer, and try to buy our way out of tis league. Why change for a penniless disinterested annonymity? We have one already. If you are not prepared to meet instant and heavy losses when you buy the club, it isn't what you are looking for. The strongpoints in a sale of Charlton should be the location and what's left of the fanbase. Low costs is irrelevant and misguided.
The Cardigan Collective on CL has a narrative that cannot be diverged from, regardless of the facts. Duchatelet - Bad (he didn't give us jobs or free hospitality) Aussies - Good (they might) While its quite possible that Fred Housego on CL gave some bloke a lift in his cab, who then spent 20 mins coating Duchatelet as a complete sh1t stain, lets not lose sight of certain people's overall narrative. I can name 2 or 3 who will be beating a path to the new owner's door when the day comes, brown tongues flapping in the wind
Well, they'd better be prepared to accept minimum wage - it doesn't sound as if any of our many suitors has a budget that will sustain lots of new jobs at the Valley.
There are no suitors Ken, I think that’s the point. Charlton’s suitors are very similar to me being a suitor for Kelly Brook
Who do you think it was who tucked John Major's shirt into his rather grey underpants …. a clue …. he's rather fond of coffee
