We will have to disagree. He has tried for me. I am honest enough to admit his efforts of late haven't been as good. That is since he has lost a bit confidence and is potentially a bit miffed spending half a season at left back though. Not an excuse as he is still being paid, but I can sympathise a little. If I compare that with my field of work. Its akin to someone being a joiner who has on occasion laid a few bricks as part of a job, then being asked to lay bricks on a regular basis to a high standard. I can tell from experience, the management of that individual would be quite taxing. Most would just refuse or would probably just do it so badly they got taken off. Admittedly they aren't being paid a massive wedge but I can still see why its knocked his end in. You can cover a role for one game for the sake of the team. Half a season is getting pretty unacceptable. As I say I won't blame Rafa or Kenedy for the situation. Clearly that is Ashley running the thing like an indian sweat shop. I just think a bit of patience and support to the lad from fans and manager will see us benefit. Rafa is on board, I'd suggest the fans get on too.
Was Parker not our player of the season one year, nothing wrong with Duff either bar og that got us relegated
He helped keep us up last season. He might yet score an important goal... time will tell, but i don't see the point in getting on players backs that's all.
I reckon having him, Shelvey, Ritchie, Ki and Almiron fit and firing will definitely assist us in staying up. That is your creativity to beat the poorer sides, especially at home, which it looks like we have set out to do this season. Rafa’s plan has now been laid bare. He has decided to sacrifice some games to attack the weaker ones. I read something about us being one of best sides against the bottom 6 this season. If he nails it and we stay up, you can’t fault him. He needs all his most talented players to do that. Kenedy has to do his part but we will see now he can have a run at left wing.
Says the person who bangs on that the players will get us relegated? Also, we could have cancelled his loan (not saying we should have) and just kept Murphy. Yes he helped keep us up last season but this season he has contributed nothing - literally. And on top of this he has put in 0 (ZERO/ZILCH/NIL etc) effort. He has done less running than Shola did and that takes some beating. He attempts a twist and a turn, it fails as defenders have worked him out, then his head is down and in his head he is saying "**** it" We can't keep playing him in the hope he may get an assist or a goal - people go on about last season but he scored two goals (both in the same match) and got 2 assists.
I dont i said the year we got rid of ba cabaye ben arfa that wed sell our best players and get relegated.... since then ive cintinued saying it in jest and to remind people that ridiculed me that I was right.
