That's been the problem all along. The EU doesn't want to negotiate just say no no no to everything we propose. It's time they put forward proposals For us to consider for a change. However they won't do this because they want the UK and our money in the EU. The language being used at the moment on both sides does not help matters. Political commentators don't help matters either, but at least we on this site know how commentators/pundits like to blow things up out of proportion.
Gents. Whether you’re remain or leave, amongst all the lies, bull and scaremongering there was only one clear and undeniably obvious truth about brexit... there was no way the EU could ever offer us a favourable deal to leave, even if it suited them financially. They just can’t. Because every other country would then want to pick the bits they like from eu membership and dump the other bits. They have to make it look like a dangerous, stupid and expensive thing to do. They have to make an example, or their existence is under threat.. Whether you hate them or not, there’s not much point in getting wound up because they’re not offering a gold watch for years of service.
Because the EU dream is about to fall apart so he needs someone to blame. Still I hear Hell is good at this time of year!!
