They just repeat what the fans say. many many fans were looking at gomez out and clyne going and thinking it was mad.

in prior years klopp has said you talking in July. are you committed for year yes/no.

I'm sure if clyne was offered in January the chance to stay til.may and play 15 games he'd have taken it.

There is something we don't know about Clyne. He'd have gone sooner if it were feasible imo

Did the same with Sakho. I trust Klopp and like that he takes no **** too.

Plus, I don't think Clyne is any better than Milner or Hendo at RB. Yes he can defend better but the other two are much better offensively asks I feel it's that side of TAA's game that we're missing atm.

or do you follow your august plan despite the fact you KNOW your cover RB (who is also your CB) is injured with broken leg/ankle.

I would agree, we don't know but i would assume clyne wasn't fit to be sold in august therefore the discussion was we will get you fit for january and you can go then.... presuming clyne said in player meetings in summer that he wanted out.

At the bare minimum a discussion on jan 1 should be held or the morning after clynes injury stating... mate... you aint going to jan 30 and we will review.

We didn't do that so i nthe end like it or not klopps getting judged on this even in hindsight.

Why? nobody but klopp would consider miler RB cover. The guy last night still couldn't get his body shape right when being run at.

But he didnt.

Skaho got ****ed out to u23s and ostracised like markovic.

Clyne was with seniors and played. was even put in rather than moreno at LB.


And as for no better.... whoa hang on.... he's far better right back than either as neither is getting it right in the basics.

Clyne was completely out of the picture for months with zero explanation, not even injury!

bar he was injured. please explain how he wasn't sold in august then?

he had two deals lined up in january to pick from... if he wasn't injured then he'd be sold. you show here he was fit preseason?

I'm not part of the club mate so no idea. Maybe clubs were suspicious?

It wasn't announced that Clyne was injured, there was nothing in the media, he just disappeared for months.

the evidence is as follows: clyne started preseason with squad and played. (though markovic even got a game)

Clyne was on bench for first prem game.

the reality is he got a back in jury and did have surgery so there is a lot of bad rumours based on lack of info

the reality is clyne probably just doesn't offer what klopp needs.

He was in and out, largely not in squads or on becnh but when called upon performed.

THeres no way round it imo... klopp is solely responsible for this issue and score a huge og.

TAA, Gomez, Milner, Fabinho and apparently Hendo too... I'd ****ed Clyne off as well!

Some on here seem to forget Clyne's level; he is ****e and offers nothing going forward. Too hung up on one mediocre player ffs

Klopp isn't a fool - if he got rid of Clyne then there's a good reason for it. Just because we don't know what it is doesn't mean there isn't one.
Jumping to conclusions based on nothing is daft.
