Well thats what i read anyway and my membership card never arrived. I admit i renewed it early dec but thought i might get one. Was able to book a ticket though early for dull game.
S**** result yesterday, but great craic and great company as always. Don't stay at the Queens, no f****** heating.
Can't believe the pubs shut at 11 in Leeds, what time did they kick you out of the Duck and Drake, the one opposite the corn exchange even shut at 10.25 as they only had 4 people in so closed.
Errr...think it's only the tranny bars that open late, Olof could have pointed you in the right direction...
Went past it on the bus, wondered if you were all in there, but decided not to have a look for you there.Pubs open till 12 in Crewe, thought everywhere was like that till yesterday.
Went to see Rival Sons at the O2 tonight. Was talking to a bouncer about nothing in particular when bouncer2 sidled up: Bouncer 2: "Were you in the Peacock on Saturday?" Me: "Aye, but how do you know that?" Bouncer2: "You called me an ugly bastart" Quick as a flash, I said to Bouncer 1: "Can you blame me?", and legged it, stage left, into the crowd. Can't get away with anything these days .....
Off to see them at the O2 in Brum tonight. Reviews of the tour have been very good, how were they? Bit of confusion on who's supporting them. Ticket says The Sheepdogs, See tickets website said The Virginmarys and a couple of reviews came up with a different name.
Was The Sheepdogs last night. I found the concert excellent. To put this in its proper perspective, I don't remember ever hearing them before, but think I must have to make me buy the ticket! Can only guess it was on Jools. Anyhow, bought the ticket months ago & got a CD at Xmas. But then lost it in the house move. So if they can impress me without hearing them beforehand, then they'll most certainly impress a fan. 1h40m show. Guy beside me said they'd sound like The Black Crowes. Good call, I thought. Didn't realise you were in Brum, otherwise we could have given you free tix for Greta Van Fleet in November. OLOF, me & Alf were due to go, but pulled out for various reasons at the last minute. Now got to wait until March to see them again.
