    Just a thought for the people behind the Margaret Thatcher statue: when you have to include a 10ft plinth in your design as you're assuming the statue will be vandalised, maybe the subject doesn't deserve a statue?

    You had to be a keen gardener to have one of those, it stored about 40 gallons of rainwater in the boot.

    Since the Orange Overlord is deciding to recognise Juan Guaido as leader of Venezuela in spite of the fact he hasn't been elected, shouldn't the rest of the word decide they recognise Bernie Sanders as POTUS and get the whole farce over with?

    I'm afraid you'll need to narrow that down a little...

  15. As pro-Brexit Shrewsbury MP and ERG member Daniel Kawczynski goes awol after lying about WWII Marshall Plan funding to the UK, there are several bigger scandals swirling around him.
    The most relevant of these is the £6k pm salary he has been drawing from US Billionaire Thomas Kaplan - a man who guides global gold investments and by definition will benefit massively in the event of any Brexit but especially a no deal version, as Sterling and the Euro both dive. Vested interest? WTF!

    And if that isn't enough to question whether the MP should next be seen in Parliament or a Police Station, then also take note of the following. ..

    Not unique maybe, but this MP is a liar, charlatan and potentially guilty of treason. And NOTHING is done..... <doh>

    Plenty is done - namely Brandon Lewis tries to divert attention by highlighting that Labour MP for Northampton North Sally Keeble liked a dick pic on Twitter and she should be hounded from office...unlike that nice Tory MP for Burton Andrew Griffiths, who sent hundreds of dick pics to his constituents but Lewis reinstated to the party when the Dire Leader needed any votes she could get when staring down the barrel of a No Confidence vote from her own party

  18. THIS Right Honourable Brandon Lewis? The same Lewis who is the 'Voice of Women' in the Tory Party?
    (Surely should be a woman? <doh>
    )

    "Mr Lewis most recently hit headlines when he was accused of 'cheating' in a parliamentary vote, after failing to honour a 'pairing' arrangement with Lib Dem deputy leader Jo Swinson, who had recently given birth."

    Checking around, I'm not so sure his attempted smokescreen was that much of a personal success, although I suppose it did divert. ...
