Not by choice, Ziggy. Everyone else seems to be bottling it, so Poch's brave lions may well have to take up the mantle. Again.
Liverpool's Naby Keita has made more Premier League appearances without losing a game than any other player in the competition's history. BBC's meaningless stat of the day.
'Klopp is used to winning with offside goals': Manuel Pellegrini hits out at Liverpool boss after James Milner is incorrectly ruled onside
Keita has so far done nothing to strengthen Pool’s weak midfield. You could see it last night when the Spammers controlled the middle of the park for long periods. They rely heavily on their defense to fight off opposition attacks, but it’s not an adequate substitute for a decent midfield.
Quick skim of a few pages of the matchday thread on the Liverpool board. A few of them think they were hard done by by the ref.
Can you guys imagine if Pep wasn’t so nice or if Klopp had to deal with Fergie’s mind games, the bloke would be in a mental institute rattling in a cold, dark corner. He’s such a ****ing snowflake. Fergie would have obliterated the bloke on a daily, Klopp’d be managing in the Australian league by now.
His complaint was that because the ref made a mistake with Milner being offside in the first half he tried to compensate in the second half by giving West Ham everything. He’s full of ****, it’s not the ref’s fault that Keita is ****e or that Firmino has turned into Francis Jeffers.
So basically he’s pissed off that the ref only helped his team out in the first half. Does he know why the ref is there?
'Pool have United, us, and Chavs still to play, all of which will be fighting hard for top 4 points. City could still win the league by six points.
